Is it the same thing that the Chinese call Qi? If so, what does Chinese medicine know that Western medicine ignores? Dan Keown's highly accessible, witty, and original book shows how Western medicine validates the theories of Chinese medicine and how Chinese medicine explains the mysteries of the body that Western medicine largely ignores.

Mostly worthless information.
What disappointed you about Acupuncture for Beginners: Teach Me Everything I Need to Know About Acupuncture in 30 Minutes?
I already knew more about the subject than this book had to offer. I learned more from a two hour documentary.
Has Acupuncture for Beginners: Teach Me Everything I Need to Know About Acupuncture in 30 Minutes turned you off from other books in this genre?
NO
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
It really did not. It had little to no actual content. It was merely fluff to sell a book.

A little too basic
Was hoping to get some basic mechanisms on how it works. The reader made me want to perform acupuncture in my eyes.

Just no
I hate to say it but this was the most poorly written and poorly narrated audiobook I’ve even encountered. I’m truly confused as to how it made it onto Audible.

Stick a needle in me, I'm done
As a man who is not a fan or needles I have always felt that acupuncture was more like witch doctory than actual medicine. But, I have several friends who have been going to acupuncture regularly and swear by it. So, rather than getting my feet wet by jumping in over my head, I decided to look up what all the fuss was about, and this short little book helped allay my fears. . .er, concerns. It is very informative, and when I finished I did feel better about the prospect of going to an acupuncturist. Clinger narrates smoothly and kept me calm when hearing about all the jabbing. Even though I did receive a promo code for this review it in no way influenced my considerations of the material, and in fact, inspired me to be more honest. In fact, getting a code generally makes me harsher as a reviewer as I am more often concerned what someone like Me will decide based on my review.

It didn't tell me anything more than normal common sense
I was hoping to learn more about the principles of acupuncture and the book just covered things like make sure you have a "clean environment"

Reparative and monotoned
If this was an assignment, for a seventh grader to write and talk about acupuncture for 30 minutes, I would give him a failing grade. The book says that it originated in Europe, then says it originated in China. Long introduction about what you will hear. A great deal of vague things it may help, but no description as to why or how. Wasted $15 and wasted 30 minutes.
