One moment, six years ago. The night she made the world around me so much more than just a blur. Now it's the catalyst that threatens to tear us apart. Our happily was supposed to be ever after. So why do I feel like it's slipping through my fingers? How can one moment, when our world seemed so right, resurface and cause our perfect life to spiral out of control? very heavy story

this was my 6th read in this series. I LOVED the trilogy of Colton and Rylee but this was just too heavy of a listen for me. I realize that it was very real and probably needs more attention to this condition but it is also very sad. I like a little drama in the books that I listen to which makes them interesting and the happy ending even better. this was just very depressing for me and made me sad. the beginning of the book was good and the very end. It seems like most of the book was about the depression. I wish there would have been more 'happy' chapters at the end. I guess I may seem shallow, but if I want sad and depressing, I'll listen to the news. I very rarely give a bad review but I wish I wouldn't have listened to this. Looking forward to happier subject matter in the next 2 books

The more fans needed

Warning: Spoilers if you haven't read the previous 3 books in the series. Stop reading this and go read them now!
This book satisfied my need for more of the Colton and Rylee story. At the end of Crashed we get their happy ending ten years later. This book is what happens in that time. K Bromberg did it again. She got me hooked on the Colton and Rylee world. I felt love, frustration, anger, heartbreak and I loved every minute of it! We go on the journey when they get pregnant and have their son Ace. We learn how they end up adopting Zander. And so much more happened I wasn't expecting. At first I was afraid to read it. We got the happy ending we wanted in Crashed. I was afraid to see them go through anymore problems. They had enough in the first 3 books! But I am glad I read this book. It answered the questions I did have at the end of Crashed. And made me love them even more. We got to see a real side of Rylee. She wasn't just a perfect good girl. And we got to see what an amazing man Colton turned out to be. I highly recommend this book to fans of the series. This is a must read!

Loved the storyline

i read the first three Driven books but listened to this one. i think yhe writing was very descriptive and really told the depth of characters.

Listening vs reading the story in this case I think was difficult to me. There was a LOT of internal dialog that would happen after a comment that made me want to tell the character to shut up and just answer the question or respind to the person. i get that the depths of the characters can and mostly do happen when we get the glimpse into their thoughts during different scenes, but these seemed to drag on and on and on to the point you just didn't care anymore because you were starting to forget the impetus for the internal dialog.

Perhaps reading it would have been better. I tend to "see" the story playing out and maybe that is what made the time lapse over shadow the scene, but not sure.

Oh the music

Every time a music reference is mentioned, I pause the book and play the song and a song that I’ve heard 100’s of times takes on a whole new meaning and fuels and intensifies an already heart-grabbing series. Lots of tears during this series; happy, sad and personal memories. Great one that I’ll go back to again.

For better or for worse

Colton and Riley have settled into married life with a little miracle human on the way. Unbeknownst to them their world is about to shift in ways they could not have imagined and the hits keep coming. Their world is rocked by ghosts from their past and puts their future and Riley’s well being in a dark hole. How do the cope and most importantly how does Colton dig deep and breathe for Riley when it seems her very breath is slipping away? This has been one emotional roller coaster ride with Colton and Riley but how do they handle the ride?

KB ACED AN EMOTIONAL HEA FOR 2 LOVED CHARACTERS

This book is only for those fans who have already listened to Colton and Rylee's story and, as we catch up with them, they're still very happy, deeply in love and they are about to be even happier..... overjoyed infact. Although they're still madly in love with each other someone from their past is out to destroy them and hopefully tear them apart - which adds drama, anguish and intrigue to the story. There is also angst when one of her precious boys is to be sent to live with his no good druggie of an Uncle which brings about heartache and regression of his spirits.... and Rylee is unable to help.

Then it loses it's pace slightly when Rylee becomes depressed as one thing after another goes hopelessly wrong and she is in a very dark place - but Colton's there by her side as the months pass looking after her, supporting her and doing all he can to bring his wife back to him. It's a heartbreaking look into an all too overlooked mental condition. Dual POV's and the narration, as always, adds depth and life to all the main characters throughout the passion-filled, frightening, heartbreaking, joyous, frustrating or romantic situations they find themselves plunged into.

Worth a credit? I've loved this series, it was brilliantly written, awesomely narrated and yes it's creditworthy BUT only as an addition to the previous books.

Awesome finale!

I am so happy with this final book. It was awe inspiring with all the ups and downs that really happens in life.
I would recommend these books to everyone I know that loves to read as well as the ones that don't.

So raw and real

I hate to say I almost didn’t get this book because I was happy with how the last book ended but I figured I made it this far and I am so happy I did. This book deals with real life struggles and does it in a way that was delicate but so true.
Plus we got more Riley and Colton and I can’t get enough of them. Definitely worth every minute!!

Love it!!!!

As ALWAYS I love all of Rosalind James' books. This is such a great story about starting over, and actually being better because of it. Everybody has struggles and disappointments some of them much larger than others. It's how you handle them that makes up your future. Rosalind shows how you can be a better person and find love in the craziest most unlikely places. I also love how she always makes such a big part of her books about how important families are in life. It's always so heartwarming. I also like her using a male and female narrators. They are both very good! As always I look forward to her next book!!

Though read

But so worth it. When I read one of the reviews on this one I was hesitant to read it. It seems this author has no problem tackling tough subject matters. I loved that these characters pulled themselves through the rough times. The only reason I can think of the not so great review has to be that she may have had a similar experience or at least knew someone who had. Don't let a so so review keep you from reading this one. I was just a little frustrated with Riley at first but got over it pretty quick.

Colton becomes more of hero

love that this book shows Colton becoming a strong male supporting Rylee as she struggles with health issues. I love that this book shows the down side of fame and tackles what is often seen as taboo subject in regards to mental health, severe baby blues and doors not trivialise it,while still giving us further insight into Colton and Rylee's love story

I just didn't enjoy this book.

I didn't enjoy any of the books in the series which surprised me because I had heard great things about them. The best thing I can say about this book is it was ok .
