1920 Detective story but on Mars

This was an awesome story for me I love old style 1920 detective stories and this was all that but in the future on Mars. The story takes place after a war for a free Mars and the main character was a soldier after he was wounded and left the military he became a detective and if you enjoy females villains, crooked casino owners and dirty cops you will also enjoy.
Someone stole top secret documents and plans to sell to Alliance the enemy of Mars. The journey to find the crook takes the listener on many routes, criss-cross and death of a friend.
So I recommend this audible you will enjoy it very much.

Entertaining

I received this book for free. I am voluntarily posting this review and all opinions expressed herein are my own.

This is a great mix of film noir detective, a bit of sci-fi, and some gangsters. Ace is a private eye on Mars with a bionic arm. He is hired by a one-night stand to find her brother - and that's when all the fun begins. Ace narrates the book, with sarcastic asides - and at times it felt like you had pulled up a barstool next to him and he told you this story. It's a very entertaining quick story. I look forward to more of his adventures.

The narrator, Lawrence Locke, does a good job - although I kept thinking he was doing an impersonation of Humphrey Bogart - which was not a bad thing.

Fun

I loved this story. The narrator did a fantastic job of capturing the vibe and fun of this space noir. I highly suggest you give this classic spy story a chance!

ACE OF SPADES

I received a free copy of this book in exchange for a review. This is out of my usual genre. If you like si-fi , Post Apocalyptic stories youll probably like this. Lawrence Locke does a good job narrating this book.

Excellent!! Puts you in mind of a futuristic Sam Spade. Really enjoyed and will be hoping for future offerings. Great narration kinda reminded me of Joe Friday lol

This was an audio book that I really enjoyed It was a good story with good characters and the narration was very good, I would recommend this audio book.
