Publisher's summary

“Let’s get married.”

That was the last thing I had in mind. Then I saw Holly, a curvy redhead in a tight green dress. I knew she was mine. And I had to claim her. I tasted her full lips and devoured every inch of her. I woke up with a ring on my finger, but she was gone....

Our marriage was an accident, but my vows are real. Finding her isn’t easy. And I’m not the only one who wants her. The cartel thinks they own her, but they have no clue. I’m not your ordinary billionaire. I’m f--king ruthless.

I’ll protect my wife. And our baby growing inside her.

Not to bad ...

I always love a leading man whose assertive and confident and in tune with the all important little things and details. This hero is an alpha male but not an over the top one or a grumpy one or a domineering one. He’s a bit bossy and likes to be in charge but he’s also fun and adventurous and even naive and vulnerable !!! I also like that the ending for this hero and heroine was a bit more realistic than you normally get in romance novels with such themes. Our super rich prominent hero also didn’t flaunt his wealth or importance and our heroine wouldn’t have been impressed anyway because she knew that wealth was not everything or even something she wanted. Man our poor leading lady really has a crap family in this story and I felt so bad for her. I prefer a first person story and like more details and nuisances and this clipped along quickly and wasn’t heavy on details and explanations so that’s why I gave this a four star rating. But all in all it was a good story I enjoyed this authors vision and the audio performance.

Nope

The male narrator is basically the only reason I finished this stupid book. Do not waste your money

Good Story but Inconsistent Heroine

Overall, I found the story line to be interesting and the narration to be well performed. The hero, Braydon, was very well written and was the definition of a literary billionaire alpha hero, the heroine however had some major inconsistencies. For instance, in the beginning Holly is described to be a shy school teacher with some social anxieties, and she plays that role well until she’s been alone with Braydon for a short while. After they grow close there is little to no sign of the heroine, social anxieties. Though I love when heroines find their voice in a story, there was no character evolution to show how she came to her mindset. Another thing that bothered me about Holly was the fact that she assumed what was right for any of the other characters and didn’t have any regard for anybody else’s feelings in the process.

Loved It

I loved this book! In the beginning, I wasn't a huge fan of the narrators, but grew accustomed to them as time went on. I'm so glad that I didn't let that deter me in the beginning.

Oops

I was pleasantly surprised to find this one had bite. Strong story with some substance. Cartel was a good angle. Some areas were obvious. Like, got drunk oops got married! But over all I liked it!

Love ! Love ! Love!

I absolutely loved this book! It captured my heart from the very beginning. I wish there was a sequel with Brayden, Holly and the baby or (kids). Thank you for a wonderful read!

Had potential

Again, this is like my third audiobook from this author. The story, as always from this author was so good. Then, as always, in the middle of the story, it just went downhill. The heroine was so inconsistent. Same as my previous books, she was not strong or weak character. I’m just not sure about her character. Bryson, as always, was superb in reading the story. Female was different story. She has good voice but her reading style just so annoying. All in all, I loved it and highly recommend.

Poor Narration

The story not believable.
The Narrators, female lead sounded like she was reading from the book, male lead better. But overall I finished the book because of the steep price. Would recommend Aletha Romig or Lauren Blakelely novella’s.
