When Dena Quinn rescues Doctor Shane Madden from his burning car on an icy Colorado highway, she becomes his accidental angel in this heartwarming romance novel.

From that moment on, he can’t get Dena out of his mind. But Shane has a problem. He is involved with his boss’s beautiful, spoiled daughter.

Dena is a nurse who fled to Colorado to escape an abusive ex-husband. When Shane offers to rent her the apartment above his garage, their relationship quickly blossoms into friendship and more.

Questions remain as their feelings deepen. What about Shane’s girlfriend? Will Dena ever be free of her abusive ex-husband?

Will Shane and Dena have a second chance at love, or are there too many obstacles in their way?

This female reader had such a monotone voice that it sounded like it was a computer voice. She didn’t know when to make inflections in her voice. very boring.

Wonderful romance story

Narrator was not up to my standards of other great narrators. It kinda put a damper on the story.

Cute story line

One of or the most popular hook by these authors! I recommend it highly, both Kindle and Audible versions. An X who is dangerous, an unrelated selfish person, and a chance meeting by some others leads to a new relationship. No life is problem free, so there are bumps along the path. Second chances are rare and readers will want to understand the hows and whys of the situation. So good!

Such an engaging listen, I did not want to stop the story and ended up paying full attention (not folding laundry or working on other chores like I planned). This is good to have on hand when there is travel or an event coming up and you want time to pass quickly.

This quote from the book is one I will easily remember - it might hook readers:

“Perhaps, he had finally begun to realize that the pursuit of money and possessions could set a dangerous trap and rob a man of his freedom. She hoped she could help him become the person he longed to be, and together they could put all their ghosts to rest.”

Great story with twists and turns along the way

Narrator was not a good match . She lifted her pitch at the end of most sentences.

Interesting set up but fell in the execution
