I had different expectations

not what I expected. struggled to make my way through this. there is too much explanation of how the brain works and what learning is at the beginning which prevented me from focusing. I just really wanted the study tips.

I would highly recommend purchasing this book

I enjoyed the challenge of putting into practice the memory techniques given in the book. It does take a concerted effort to change the way I would normally memorize things. I would refer this book to some of my students; in fact, I will begin teaching them some of these techniques to help them enjoy the memorization process.

The book contains a good quantity

The book contains a good quantity of quality and practical advice that anyone can easily implement. What I especially like about this book is the size. The author provides less volume and more quality. It is very easy to wade through this book and select the parts that one may need to work on.

You should buy this book

The bulk of which are not needed in order to learn higher math. For that reason, if your intent is to get your child ready for the common core exam, you will need to supplement this book with a common core aligned math book. On the other hand, if your intent is for your child to actually learn the fundamentals and like math, and not just study to the test, then you should buy this book. Finally, I like the fact that this book has videos that go along with each lesson. And I also love the price!

You still have to do the "work" of learning

I highly recommend either version of the book to any Spanish language learner, even if you think that you know a lot of vocabulary. Moser teaches grammar and sentence structure in a fun way that will really stick with you. You still have to do the "work" of language learning, but you will be able to retain it better.

The Author is using images to memorize verb tenses

I started with the kindle version and was using it so much that I bought the print. While the content is the same, the book is beautiful! Since the author is using images to memorize verb tenses (I finally can user and star correctly) it is nice to see the artwork on paper.

I really enjoyed this book

I really enjoyed this book because it provided exact suggestions on what one can do to add in learning. I don't need theories just concrete examples and this book provided just what I needed! I will share these ideas with my two children... I wish I knew this in college!

Trouble book with no real knowledge

The book was just absolute waffle and nothing actually practical. Read James Clear atomic habits instead

I have just finished the book.

I have just finished the book. Just the technique for remembering names alone makes the book worth listening to. In the process of listening to the book, I attended a wedding abroad. I was able to remember almost every single name of the person I met on the trip and at the wedding (with more practice, I'm sure I'd get everyone). I'm already noticing improvements in my day to day memory solely as a function of practicing the day to day techniques. I wish I would have picked this book up sooner!

I found this book very useful!

I found this book very useful! I was willing to put in the time to memorize the techniques required to make it work. Some of the people complaining about the book are doing a big disservice to those who have never been exposed to these strategies.

Found this book to be very helpful. The strategies

If you want anything related to the following, this is not the book for you. It DOES NOT HAVE: ratios, proportions, percents, three-dimensional geometry, coordinate plane and functions, types of numbers (whole vs. natural vs. integers, etc), algebra, etc. {And this is just the middle school math stuff.}
