My requirements for a man are simple. Must love books. Must NOT love hockey.

Which is why I will never be interested in my neighbor, the aloof and mysterious Felix Jamison, no matter how many books I see him hauling into his apartment. Unless he loses his pro hockey skates, I’m out.

But then he shows up at my symphony concert.

And I catch the sweet strains of Beethoven floating across the hall.

Have I mentioned how incredible he looks in his gameday suit?

Still, my history with hockey is complicated. My older brother played, and let’s just say he stole enough limelight to land a plane at midnight. I was forced to be a part of that world for so long, now that I have a choice, it’s the last thing I want.

But something tells me Felix is about to change my mind…

Absolutely Not in Love is a closed-door hockey romcom with neighbor vibes between a bookish hockey goalie and a classical cellist, with forced proximity, and all the swoony chemistry you want.

Could have had a bit more kissing scattered all through the book. But a good read overall. Good narration and a great story!

Very romantic!

Excuse me while I sit over here still SWOONING over FELIX JAMISON! Talk about book boyfriend material. This guy is amazing!!! Not only is he a super attractive, quietly confident hockey goalie, but he also listens to classical music, loves to read, and is extremely thoughtful. He is the BEST, I love him!

Gracie is a perfect match for him and I love when she sees the incredible man Felix really is. The natural progression of their relationship feels so authentic and sweet. Nobody is too much in their head, but they just live and feel and we get to go on their beautiful journey with them. Their communication felt so healthy and realistic and I really appreciate how it was all portrayed.

I couldn’t stop smiling and I just felt so happy the entire book! Jenny Proctor’s writing is always full of humor and sizzling chemistry and Felix and Gracie had it in SPADES!!

I loved their text conversations, the hockey moments, flirting, the forced proximity, their apologies, the ending…all of it! Every single moment was perfection!

This final installment of the Sweater Weather series absolutely DELIVERED! The audio was a reread for me and I loved it all over again. I really enjoyed the narrators.

🔥: Closed door/ heated kisses
CW: mild language

Absolutely LOVED!

Likes the story, could have done without some of the romantic details but clean enough (closed-door). Did not like the female voice recordings. Many seemed to be cut off before fully recording the last word, like fading out.

Breaks and fading when nearing end of sentence in recording
