This is the third book in the Preacher series. I love these books about preacher when he was young. In this book preacher is leading a group of women out west. There is a gang wanting the wemon. There is some rough parts, a lot of killing. This is a very action packed book. This is a storyline that keeps you interested. This is a movie in your mind style of book with several narrators. Very good book. 150 women on a wagon train to California that's all Preacher had to do. Only he had to train them how to shoot guns, try and keep them alive. Attacks by Indians and a band of outlaws made the trip an adventure the women weren't counting on
The few the finally made it to California were better women then when the left ST Louis, Mo. five months earlier.
