Publisher's summary

Abigail and her grandfather have always enjoyed a special relationship. Especially at Christmas time on their farm in Ohio.

Until this year.

This year, something is wrong with Abigail's beloved grandpa. He will not eat, he will not drink, he will not rise from his bed. He only wants to die. Abigail and her family and the doctors are unable to do anything to bring him around.

It will take a miracle. A miracle Abigail sees no signs of happening no matter how hard she prays.

Sweet Amish Christmas novella

I just finished listening to this book that was in my personal library. It was a Christmas novella, and although it was a Christmas book, I thought I would listen to it. It was a very sweet Amish Christmas story of an Amish grandfather who was suffering from depression. It was a very nice book about Abigail's efforts to help her grandfather, while also a blooming romance is starting with a young Amish man that she has known over many years. I enjoyed the reading by Scott Bryan whose pleasant voice was easy to listen to.
I enjoyed this book and it was an enjoyable read.

Christmas time, a celebration of God's wonderful glory.

Murray Pura wrote an amazing Amish Christmas novel about the King family. It was filled with hope, prayer, love, miracles, and the 12 Angels of Christmas. I truly enjoyed this story about Abigail, Grandpa Jacob and Grandma Grace, and Michael Yoder. Scott Bryan read each chapter with a soothing voice and his German and Pennsylvania Dutch was perfect. He made the story come to life and is very good at moving the story along in a smooth way. I hope that you too will have the same enjoyment and satisfaction that I did as I listened to this celebration of God's wonderful glory.

Christmas Miracle and Sweet Romance

I listened to the audiobook and the narrator was smooth and told the story as it should be. I loved Abigail’s story and how she fought for her Grandpa to live. I can relate to her because when I was a 17 my grandpa passed away. I would have done anything to have seen my grandpa get up from his death bed. I was so devastated when he passed away. This story is heart touching and makes a person think of how it is to pray and expect a miracle.
The budding romance between Abigail and Michael was sweet. It’s nice to read a story about a young man that knows how to treat a young lady. I really enjoyed listening to this heart warming Christmas Miracle.
I received a free audio copy of this book from the author but I was not required to write a review. All opinions are my own.
