For the Reptilian humanoid alien Trissii, abducting humans was all just part of her job. She had done it dozens of times before... Testing for this subject was now complete. In a few hours, he would be back home, none the wiser about his little adventure.

Then her ship crashed on a nightmarish planet classified as double-red; there was no chance anyone would ever rescue them. Her badly damaged ship would never fly again, and to make matters worse, she now had a broken hand.

Their survival depended on a desperate option no one had ever used. She needed to wake the human from stasis. Then they would have to hike nearly 100 miles and hope the signal from a distant transponder was correct. There was another derelict ship, one that had crashed years earlier, and that one might be repairable.

Getting there was only half the problem.

Loved the story premise

Loved the story premise and how it started. second and third acts felt a bit rushed. and the end was kind of abrupt like a larger story was cut into two stories. if youre a fan of this author (and I count myself among those) its still a good read.

Just for the Fun of it !!

Warning: I love David Collins' books--all of them. So, this may be a just a little biased. Sometimes you need to listen to a witty, clever and not-so-serious sci-fi book just for the pure fun of it. If you are not offended by alien reproductive quandaries or a very relaxed sense of humor, you will find out the whys, wherefores (and procedures) behind those pesky alien abductions. Once again, the characters are perfect, the situations unexpected and the conversations fun. If you haven't read his books before it will open a gateway to a couple of dozen great titles.....and if you have, you will really like this one.

I like the approach

I liked the approach to the story. They are some pretty helpful aliens. It does make you want to know what happens next.

Don’t know which I hate more, virtual voice or Dramatized versions.

A very good story that was ruined by virtual voice. This used to be free with any Kindle book which is what it is worth. Hope it’s eventually read by real narrators.
