Publisher's summary

The third installment in a brilliantly dark, unique paranormal world by Colleen Gleason, writing as Joss Ware.

From the raging fires, five men emerge with extraordinary new powers. They are humankind's last hope…but they cannot survive this dark, ravaged world alone…

Quentin Fielding had everything. Money. Power. Women. But now that civilization is all but annihilated, Quent wants only one thing: Revenge. Harnessing a strange new “gift”; he embarks on a deadly mission to find the man responsible for the chaos and destruction, the man he should have killed years ago: His father. Only one thing stands in his way--a mysterious, arrow-wielding beauty…

Zoë Kapoor is on her own quest for vengeance, searching for the monstrous fiends who murdered her family. Soon she and Quent join together, journeying through the ruins of the world they once knew as a desperate desire builds between them. Drawing closer to an enemy they never imagined, Zoë and Quent must abandon all fear, abandon all regret, abandon the night…

“High-stakes action and sizzling romance.” (Lara Adrian).

Awesome & Suspenseful Audiobook!

I loved and enjoyed the awesome, extraordinary, amazing, suspenseful audio version of Abandon the Night, by Joss Ware, Colleen Gleason that I received free from the author, Colleen Gleason.
Quen's goal is to kill the person who caused the chaos and destruction, his father. Zoe realizes that she loves Quen and does not want him to go through the guilt of killing his own father and devises a plan to protect Quen. Quen loves Zoe and wants her nowhere near his father or the ruthless people surrounding him.
Read and or listen to the highly recommended, phenomenal, engaging, thrilling love story of Quen and Zoe in Abandon the Night by the talented Joss Ware, Colleen Gleason.

Awesome Series - Great Narrator

In this book, the third in the series, we finally begin to understand the inner workings of the strangers, and who they are.

It turns out that the ring leader so to speak, is Quent's father. Once he discovers this, he wants nothing more than to hunt him down and kill him... well, aside from holding Zoe's arrows hostage so he can get a little time between the sheets with her!

This book was a little slower and harder to get into than the previous two - but once you get about halfway it picks up and the action returns. With this particular couple, I enjoyed the fact that Colleen switch it up a bit and sort of made Zoe the heroin, instead of all the books following the same stereotypical male hero.

Less action, but a huge addition to the storyline. Totally worth the read, as the next book is even better!

Great listen!

I've been listening to the series and I'm really enjoying it. I like that in this story Zoie was the Heroine. She didn't need saving at all, and I like that about this story. She handled her own.

The Narrarator did an excellent job. You can tell who's talking and he changes accents easily. He definitely puts life into these characters and makes this story very enjoyable. I was easily drawn in.

Envy Chronicles Book Three

Envy Chronicles Book Three.

Quent is bent on taking down his father, one of the leaders of the Strangers. Zoe seeks revenge against Raul Marck for the death of her family. Together the two set out to conquer their enemies and, in some respects, their pasts. When they reach their destination, Quent learns more about the mysterious Cult of Atlantis and what that really means for the new world.

Narration: Sebastian Fields narrates the series with an amazing consistency. His voices are distinguishable throughout the series and completely recognizable. Each character has a personality and history.

If you're looking for a story with adventure, zombie-like creatures, and lost civilization mythology this is the book for you!

Great End of the World Series

Any additional comments?

I have gotten totally hooked on this series. I love the tie in to Atlantis and the explanation for the reason why the world as we know it has come to an end. It makes total sense but it isn't totally depressing. I've enjoyed this series much more than I first thought that I would. The narrator does an awesome job with both male and female characters.

Hottest story of the series so far!

Where does Abandon the Night rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It ranks near the top.

What did you like best about this story?

I liked that we are getting more and more answers about why the change happened and who was behind it. The chemistry between Zoe and Quent is immediate, so the sex is hot from the start. Then they have to work on trusting each other enough to actually work together and possibly build a life together.

What about Sebastian Fields’s performance did you like?

I enjoyed how he was able to shift from an English accent or a female character's voice back to the narrator seamlessly. He was able to give each character a unique voice and personality.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

I definitely wanted to keep going to find out what happened next.

Any additional comments?

If you object to strong language, you may want to avoid this book. However, I think the smart mouth fit with Zoe's personality.
