ABIDE IN ME AND I IN YOU is part of the ABIDE SERIES within the 3D BIBLE MATRIX PROJECT. The abide series is for more mature believers, who want advanced understanding of how to abide in Him, follow Him and be led by the Spirit. It’s for believers who want a thorough yet personal understanding of who Jesus is and His desire that you abide in Him, Him in you, and bear eternal fruit for His glory. Without Him you can do nothing. The abiding life in Christ Jesus!

ABIDE IN ME & I IN YOU is technically not a book. It’s a compilation of Scriptures that help readers ‘get understanding’ about all the times the word “abide” appears in the Bible in the context of abiding in God/Jesus/Spirit. For instance, in John 15 Jesus said, “Abide in Me, and I in you. He who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” What other Scriptures in the Bible help us understand what it means to abide in Him and Him in us? This is that; a collection of all the Scriptures we could find on the topic of abiding in Him.

AN ADVENTURE – for me studying the results of these Word-phrases is not so much an intellectual or clinical study of Scripture, but rather a heartfelt journey with Jesus, who is the Word. I’m learning from Him, and learning to be a doer of His Word, in fellowship with Him, delighting in Him. Then together we go!

FELLOWSHIP can be a key part of the learning process. Bible study leaders are given a facilitator guide in the back of the book to inspire interactive participation. The questions keep us focused on what God is teaching us in His Word. We learn from the Scriptures, learn from each other, and learn about each other (fellowship in Christ and love for one another). And hopefully we become doers of the Word and not forgetful hearers.

SMALL GROUP FACILITATION GUIDE provides instruction on how to facilitate a home group, life group, or Bible study. Facilitating differs from teaching. The goal of a facilitator is to encourage full engagement from everyone, with less attention on self. Together, we inspire interactive conversations about the Scriptures being read. Participants learn from the Scriptures, learn from each other, and learn about each other which is fellowship.

3D BIBLE MATRIX PROJECT –What’s a 3D Bible Matrix? We search intriguing words and phrases in the Bible, plus their synonyms and antonyms, and sort them into word phrases. Each word phrase becomes a matrix. There are three or more matrices in each SERIES. Verses are put into context (a paragraph), key points are highlighted, and questions are created that point back to the Biblical verb phrase being researched (usually the name of the ‘book’). The reader therefore learns from the living Word of God. It’s 100% truth, no opinions or philosophies added, and no Scriptures removed. The result is an interactive learning experience with Jesus, who is the Word of God made flesh. We delight in Him, ‘get understanding’ from Him, and hopefully engage in interactive fellowship with one another in the process.
