A Woman on Wheels

Wanting to have a baby my whole life, I always assumed I would get the opportunity. But when I received the diagnosis of an incurable disease, that dream faded into a distant memory. When I fell in love, got married, and then pregnant a few years later, everyone questioned if I would get my dream or just be lucky to survive.

Battling constant nausea and discovering the baby was struggling too, was agony.

Coping with the possibility of losing the baby, what my husband and I both wanted is something no one should have to handle, yet so many do. I was told by many well-meaning people to end her life before the pregnancy ended mine, but then her fate was taken out of my hands.
