Not the best in the series.

I over the whole set of TB Markinson, but this one was not the best of them. I am going to move on to the next one that was recommended, and I hope it is better. This one was slow in the story, not too much drama and it was very limited in time frame.

An enjoyable sequel!

I found the Audible experience here superb. I could not bring myself to pause the play button. It’s a refreshing, sassy, tension filled, crazy family drama with plenty of confusion and secrets. What more can you ask for with this family during the holidays!?

In this book you have the Twinks B-day behind them and the Holidays fast approaching with Lizzie & Sarah (mostly Sarah) putting together a BIG Christmas to do with All there family and friends invited. Needless to say, even with clip board in hand. Nothing ever goes smoothly when the Petrie’s our around. Then you have Lizzie -the clueless one- who relies solely on Sarah to navigate her threw the many sticky situation she’s bound to be faced with when having everyone over. Unfortunately for Lizzie and Sarah It seems that everyone IS going threw something and it Lizzie stepping up and being the problem solver. Specially when everything seems to be getting out of hand and all she’s trying to do is keep the peace and her sanity.
Needless to say, This was definitely a fun read! There are many funny situations Lizzie, Sarah, Maddie and the rest of the gang find themselves in and at times some serious heart to heart..I even lost it! I laughed so hard. (Shrimp anyone)
You can’t go wrong with a T.B Markinson book/audiobook. She does a wonderful job with this audiobook and all the previous ones in this series...That also goes the same with Stephanie Murphy. She has these characters down and does a wonderful job with the narrating of this series. I can’t wait for the next one to come out. 5⭐️

Absolutely Fantastic

Stephanie Murphy does a great job narrating Lizzie’s! T.B. has never disappointed and this series is one of my favorite. You will not be disappointed with the plot twists and turns and crazy family dynamics. You’ll laugh a lot and probably cringe a couple times. I thought my family’s holiday gatherings were dysfunctional. We’ve got nothing on the Petrie’s.

Family relationships...uh ok.....

Lizzie and Sarah continue to create a world that works for them. This is truly one of the best series I have ever had the pleasure to read in any genre. The range of emotions that are cultivated through this story are amazing. What I have enjoyed most is the humor and wit that plays out with all the characters through word and action. This a crew of quirky characters with Lizzie always leading that pack. Sarah even with her logic and sense of family missteps in the weirdest ways. The twins just add an amusing diversion and more personality to this saga. I have enjoyed each book in this series thus far through audio book. That has allowed me to enjoy the wonderful talent of Stephanie Murphy. She has the outstanding ability to bring out the personality of each individual in this work. The intense thread of love that spans this series deepens in each book. The only difficulty I had with this book was the cliff hanger end. TB. Markinson until this book has not done that with this series. In all honesty I would be eager for the next book even with out the hanger but now the anticipation is greater. Curiosity and patience make for great works. My hope is that this is one of those never ending sagas.

I’ve truly enjoyed listening to the series. This book had me in stitches!! My wife kept asking me what was so funny!! This book is my favorite of the series so far! The narrator does a great job and I always know who’s speaking. Grab this book- you will not be disappointed! Can’t wait for the next one!!
