A Weekend of Passion

It may seem impossible to have a bad day in Paris, but beautiful, smart Grace Delacourt somehow accomplishes that as she is reamed by her boss right there on the sidewalk of an outdoor café. When a handsome, charismatic man advises Grace to walk away from her job, she has no idea that the man, seemingly just out for a cup of coffee, is a billionaire shipping tycoon.

Tony Petrides, owner of Greek Tower in the Paris business district - a successful empire in its own right, with offices all around the world - whisks Grace away from her boss's screaming rant and turns her bad day into a memory that will stay with her forever. Unfortunately, their intense and unexpected romance is eventually derailed by a little white lie. Grace tells Tony goodbye, but when she returns home and finds herself unable to land another job, she is forced to accept a position on the West Coast, with Petrides Shipping, working one on one with the man himself.

Will their smoking-hot chemistry override past mistakes, or will one more lie finish them for good?

A Weekend of Romance

Rebuilding her life after she split with billionaire shipping mogul, Tony Petrides, Grace Delacourt is content sharing her Dupont Circle condo with her good friend Rachel Bilton who she knows from her modeling days. Grace is focused on work. She's working as the event director for one of the hottest charity events of the season, when who should appear but the globe-trotting Tony, looking devastatingly handsome as always.

Beneath their breakup-bruised egos smolder the sparks of passion. One look at each other, and Grace and Tony are more smokin' than ever. They engage in nearly nonstop unbridled passion that makes them wonder why they ever were apart in the first place.

Really painful to listen to

This story had potential but the reader made my ears bleed. Very dry and unconvincing, and the tone she used kinda dragged....very annoying. The male voices she tried to create killed potentially good scenes. I paid money for this so I tried to tough it out but left it on overnight accidentally and decided to stop when I realized that the thought of replaying the parts I missed was painful.

First, the reading is horrible. the characters are underdeveloped and show no real growth or development. The plot is upsetting, some of the things that happened made no sense, nor did they add to the story. Wish I could get my money back so I could get something better!

Struggled to finish.

The plot had potential but didn't work out. I had to skip several chapters. Don't bother. A waste of a credit.

Kind of annoying...

The main characters are actually very annoying. The girl is a bit dumb and doesn’t seem to know how defend or think for herself. The guy is overpower and over protective for and not in a good way. He’s actually kind of an asshole.
To be completely honest I wouldn’t recommend it, it’s not worth the time but it’s manageable to get through since I’ve already bought it.
