Background music
I know this story from the movie so knew what to expect, but I didn’t love the use of background sound effects and music at various times in the recording. I found it distracting and thought it didn’t match the mood.

Love the story
I have seen the movie and always ment to read the book cause we all know most of the time the book is better than the movie.(lol). I love the differences in the book from the movie. it took a little to get use to the background music but i loved it. I was curious about what time of music will be used. the books shows how quickly love can foem for some people and how out of the blue it can be with someone you least expected and that all happy endings are not like the movies.

I 1st saw the movie on TV. It was good but this book was spectacular because I had to put my own visualisations into it. A wonderful heartfelt story. I don't think the background music was necessary but it didn't interfere with the story

Great audiobook experience!
A Walk To Remember is my all time favorite Nicholas Sparks book and movie so I was excited to try this one out.
Though I expected a different kind of voice (a much younger one, I guess), the narrator actually did a good job on telling the story as if it was his own, which is vital for a great book like this.
For the music and occasional ambiences, I love how it helped me imagine the scenes as if I was really there. It was like a movie but this left me room for imagination. I have a habit of losing interest in a book that I tend to skip to the interesting parts but the soundtrack made me listen from start to end! And this book still made me cry..
Overall, I had a great experience! Will definitely buy another Booktrack edition audiobook.
