Funny, drama, novel within a novel
Becca is a romance writer so this book is constantly talking about how she feels her life isn't a romance book, and yet the irony is that it really is. There are so many plays on various romance tropes. This book has it all: likeable FMC, swoon-worthy MMC, a HEA, there's more, but I don't want to spoil it. The narrator is FANTASTIC with voicing both the female and male characters. I'm going to definitely look up more books she has narrated.

Okay I love the narrator they picked for this book! I love seeing my comfort reads turned into audiobooks! I re-listen to audiobooks constantly!
This story is perfect! We love a man that is obsessed with the FMC! I really hope she turns the whole series into audiobooks!

Great performance!
The premise of this sounded great, I typically love a book set in or around the publishing industry, however, it was just dull.
Could do with more ‘showing’ writing-style than ‘telling’ to help, the steamy scenes were very drawn out and dull, even cheesy at times. (The first time they ever hooked up, they actually conversed in the process, very un-hot and implausible, IMO.)
The characters were flat, no real individual personalities of their own, and so was the world. Not bad, per se but not good by any means, nothing really to offer.
Based on this experience, would I read more from this author? No.
Audio:
The narrator was great, more a voice actor than just a narrator, would listen to more books she’s done.
