Publisher's Summary

School principal Jonathan Madaris falls hard the moment new teacher Marilyn Bannister walks into his office. The gray-eyed beauty takes his breath away and makes him regret his school's non-fraternization policy. Still, he immediately knows Marilyn is special. And he's not letting anything stop him from getting the woman he wants.

Marilyn recognizes the attraction between her and Jonathan but has no intention of breaking school policy. After all, this is her first job and she loves it. So when she's suddenly transferred to another school and she discovers Jonathan is behind the move, she is furious.

It's clear that Jonathan needs to be taught a lesson about playing with people's lives. And Marilyn is just the teacher to do it. But will she go too far? Find out what happens when two proud individuals face off in the game of love.

Will it take a Christmas miracle to save the day?

WOW WHAT A STORY

At long last the Johnathan and Marilyn story finally told!!!! Several books alluded to the story but never explained. I like the storyline that really showcased the love of these two. It really explains why their children knew what real love looked like. I also like how Brenda J had the main characters explain what they did BEFORE someone else stuck their nose in their business. My husband and I were listening to the story while on the road. Well done Brenda Jackson

Finally, a beginning!

It was good to know Jonathan and Marilyn's start, but I missed Pete Ohms lilt to the story. Took me a minute to get used to Mr. Butler's approach but not for matriarch Felecia Laverne, he missed that one by a mile. As always Ms. Jackson does the Madaris clan proud for us.

A Very Merry Romance

I liked the story, it was pretty good. I appreciate the history of Madaris family and friends. Sometimes I felt that parts moved too slow. Although he did his best, I am used to the deeper more rugged voice .Overall good book.

I enjoyed this story. There are so many Madaris brothers & cousins that I admit. i can't keep them straight but i always enjoy falling in love with them. Learning their origin story was neat. sterling & Colby will always be my favorite Madaris friends tale.
