A Summer to Remember

A Summer to Remember. I love this author. I love this book it is just a good read relaxing and a good village story. Not full of sex to take up space but enough romance to be interesting.

Idyllic

A heartwarming fun listen, and the narrator is the gold I come here for! The descriptions of the surroundings paint a vivid picture and the characters are so real and alive.

Fun, enjoyable listen

I love the small town experience captured in this book. I appreciate that dynamics were not stereotypical, but uniquely developed and felt like real life.

Disappointed

I thought I was buying one thing but realized there was a strong social agenda taking a major part of the storyline. So I stopped listening.

Glad everyone got their happy ending, but...

that's the only positive thing to say. In reading to "escape", I imagine that not many of us want to be drug into the agenda of so called SJW"s and PC - I know that I don't. Unless, editors & writers are afraid that I am, in fact, correct - they should include in their synopsis, the extra side stories included before we spend our hard earned money and time.
The writer keeps saying something along the lines of calling someone names doesn't make them any less gay (I'm sure she thinks she's clever) but I say to her that calling someone names (because they don't agree with you) neither makes it true nor will it open dialogue to discuss prejudices on EITHER side.
