Story
“My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker.” When children go missing, and the humans have no leads, I’m the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot. I’m on the FBI’s wanted list. I have a werewolf for a pet and a witch of a best friend and have no need for anyone else in my life. But when a hunt for a missing child starts to spin out of control, help comes from a most unexpected direction. One who is dangerously dark, brooding, and doesn’t know a thing about the supernatural. One whose kisses set me on fire.

Story
I knew the sins of my past would call to collect what was left of my soul. If I'd known the price I'd pay, I would've sacrificed more to stay hidden from the magic. In the middle of Wyoming - away from the abnormals of the world - I thought I was free and clear. I started a new life. Found a love I'd never known in a husband, and a son who was my everything. And in a blinding instant, that life was stolen from me.

Story
Thirty-nine was a fantastic year. I was married to the man I loved. I had a body that worked without creaking. My grandma, who raised me, was still healthy, and life was pretty damned good. But as they say, all good things come to an end. One year later, I’m a widow. My joints are starting to ache. Gram is in the nursing home, and dead people think my home is some kind of supernatural bed-and-breakfast. Gluing body parts onto semi-transparent people has become a side job - deceased people I’m not even sure are actually there.

Story
One day, I’m married, living in Seattle, and magic isn’t real. The next, I’m divorced and living in the guest room of my ex’s hotter-than-sin cousin’s place in Savannah and talking to an animated skeleton named Robert. I have to admit, Robert isn’t my worst date. At 41, I didn’t think I’d be starting over. But I’ll be damned if my ex thinks I’m down and out because he pulled a fast one on me. When a job comes my way that offers me a chance to use my childhood training in the shadow world, I take it.

Four months of wallowing in embarrassed depression should be enough. I’m beginning to realize that no one is who they seem to be, and my life story might be spinning out of my control. It’s time to take a shower, put on a bra, and wear something other than sweatpants. Difficult, but doable. "My name is Larkspur, and I am an Elemental." My people use the power of the earth to sustain life and defy our enemies. I should be at my father's side as a royal princess. But as a half-breed, bastard child, that isn't going to happen. I've been accused of attacking the queen, my wicked stepmother, and my life is suddenly on the line. I have only two options left to me: banishment, or training to become one of the King's Elite Guards, an Ender. Option one will kill me. Option two is meant to break me, but is the only way to survive.

The Witch's Reign...a land of unnatural hellish cold ruled over by the Ice Witch herself, who is in turn guarded by three creatures - Wolf, Bear, and Raven. Those lovely beasts derive their power directly from their mistress and just happen to kill any who cross their paths. To get there, you first must pass through the Dragon's Ground. Full of, you guessed it, dragons who for the record, also do not like trespassers. Sounds like a fun place to go, doesn't it? Yeah, not so much.

My name is Rachel Sambrook, and I thought I understood the world...until I discovered the world is full of living, breathing monsters. When I teamed up with Lea, I thought we had stopped the experiments on vampire blood. All we did was open a can of wolves we had not expected. The clues we find take us halfway across the world and, to my irritation, leave us depending on two men. One, a werewolf who has his own set of secrets. And the other, a Cazador like Lea...only this one is human and more tempting than I’d like to admit.

Supernatural Bounty Hunter isn't the sort of thing you see on LinkedIn. But with a rare type of magic like mine, I don't have many options. Dangerous or not, the job is mine. And it was going fine, until an old-as-sin vampire stole my mark, and with it, my pay day. Knowing I'm poor and desperate, he has offered me a job. I'll have to work by his side to help solve a top secret case. Everyone knows not to trust vampires. Especially a hot elder vampire.

"Happily Ever After" wasn't supposed to come with a do-over option. But when my husband of 20 years packs up and heads for greener pastures, and my son heads away to college, that's exactly what my midlife becomes. A do-over. This time, though, I plan to do things differently. Age is just a number, after all, and at 40 I'm ready to carve my own path. Eager for a fresh start, I make a somewhat unorthodox decision and move to a tiny town in the Sierra foothills.

Publisher's Summary
Priceless, book one: "My name is Rylee, and I am a Tracker." When children go missing and the Humans have no leads, I'm the one they call. I am their last hope in bringing home the lost ones. I salvage what they cannot. I'm on the FBI's wanted list. I have a werewolf for a pet, a Witch of a best friend, and no need for anyone else in my life. But when a salvage starts to spin out of control, help comes from a most unexpected direction. One that is dangerously dark and brooding and doesn't know a thing about the supernatural. One whose kisses set me on fire.
Immune, book two: Underestimating demons is a bad idea, and it's a mistake that may cost not only my life but the life of a missing child. If I can swallow my pride and allow Agent O'Shea to help me find a way to deal with the demon, we might be able to save the child. With this salvage, it's a race against time, a test of trust, and a temptation that I'm doing my damndest to ignore. If only swallowing my pride and ignoring temptation were that easy.
Raising Innocence, book three: The FBI wants me on their team. Bad enough that they are dangling bait they know I can't resist. The catch? It's on the other side of the ocean. And if I want what they're offering, I have to help them with a salvage gone terribly, terribly wrong. But this time I have no backup. I have no plan B. And I have no O'Shea.

Voice does not match story.
the narrator sounds like a teenager. It skews the story tone. Riley is strong. The narrator is not. It isn't an unpleasant voice, it just doesn't go with THIS book.

Don't care for the narrator
If the narrator makes a difference to you, don't bother with these books. Not only can't she do a credible job of changing voices, but her ill placed pauses make the story disjointed and at times leaves you wondering what the heck was going on. Her attempts at accents are bad, especially the Irish accent. I won't be buying any more of this series.

Any additional comments?
Absolutely love this series. Rylee's story is captivating & on the edge of your seat thrilling! Great character development, storyline, & plot. Wish the narrotor had more voices/ranges than she does and maybe a bit more maturity to her voice (at times she sounds like a teen reading the book vs. a mature adult) but overall she did well!

This narrator was the worst
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
A more plausible story line would certainly have helped. The narration was also so irritating that it was hard for me to follow without being focused on that. She sounded like a young teen, so it didn't match at all. She barely changed her voice for each character, which I disliked immensely. Maybe after coming off of the Jane Yellowrock series with Khristine Hvam spoiled me, but this narrator was the pits. The FBI agent love interest after years of what would border on hate made absolutely no sense either. I don't think I will continue the series.

Good series (Books 1- 3 enclosed)
Love that you get 3 books for one credit.
In Book 1) Priceless: Rylee is a young woman who is a tracker. Her powers become activate after the traumatic experience of her adopted sister being taken while they are on a playground. Since her “parents” are her adopted parents, it was easy for them to blame her. She is kicked out of the house.
We meet her 10 years later, with her new family. She has a BFF – a witch, her campion, Alex a partly transformed werewolf and her surrogate mother/trainer, who is no longer lucid. Rylee does what she does best, which is find lost kids. The antagonist is the FBI agent. For 10 years he has been trying to prove that Rylee was involved with the disappearance of her sister. Good action and paranormal characters.
In book 2) Immune: Rylee is like a dog chasing her tail. She is faced with helping a friend or saving a kid’s life. What happens is that her strings are being pulled by forces unknown. In this installment the characters are burning road between North Dakota and New Mexico in the middle of winter. Considering how much she depended on her friends, I was a tad upset that she could blow one off. Her relationships with her BFF and the FBI agent changed in Priceless. In Immune, these become huge changes. These changes are the bases of the next book.
My pet peeve, I am tired of hearing Rylee go back and forth with the guilt of her sister’s abduction. Secondly, I get frustrated with all the erroneous assumptions and whining. It is an easy fall back for authors to fill pages of the internal guilt struggle and the “love” triangle. Oh I love him. He made goo goo eyes at my BFF. I cannot tell him I love him he loves her. Oh why does he keep looking at me? That plot line drives so many of the wrong choices the characters make. We have to endure them doing stupid things to come to the realization of mutual attraction. Ugh
In book 3) Rylee discovers what her BFF has been doing and makes adjustments in who she considers family. I find her being more decisive in this book. She discovers there are other trackers. I could have told her that. In Immune a few of the vampires said, you trackers. We are on a different continent, we bring alone the same old problems and friends. Rylee matures. She deals with the death of her mentor, her BFF issues and she becomes a mentor. Oh yea, she finds (can find) her sister. The dilemma is should she interrupt her life. This ends in a cliff hanger. I am not a fan of that. Since I enjoyed the series, that is not a problem. I am down loading the next book.
Alex is the best character in the series. When Rylee has to make a choice, she makes the best one.

Good story, narrator not so much
If you could sum up A Rylee Adamson Omnibus in three words, what would they be?
Urban Chick Fantasy
What other book might you compare A Rylee Adamson Omnibus to and why?
Its a fairly standard urban fantasy, but has an interesting take on the mythos.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
The narrator sounded like she was 12, and gave Riley a very whiny teenager voice, rather than the kick ass vibe I believe she was meant to have. it was listenable though.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened to this over the course of about 3 days.
Any additional comments?
I really think the story might have benefited from a different narrator. It might be better to actually read this if you have the time.

story was okay narrator was the worst ever
story was forced and kinda boring. the climatic scenes sucked. nothing like Anita Blake Vampire Hunter. some review said it was so I tried these. but this book isn't as good at all. the author just isn't talented enough. it was okay though. if the narrator hadn't been God awful like nails on chalkboard and horrible fake accents I would have given the book 4 stars. maybe.

A grind I couldn't get into
I tried several times to get into this one but it irritated me right from the beginning. I tried to suspend belief but I couldn't.
I'm a fan of this genre but I just couldn't accept the situations. Being pursued by the FBI for years and they are so sloppy about? The FBI agent becoming a love interest - didn't work. The witch not able to work with her. The retarded werewolf. Just too many implausible situations.

Excellent
There was nothing I didn't like about this book. I loved all of the stories as they dragged me into Rylee's world, I now find myself I itching to finish this review as I want to get book 4 but I see that as of yet we only have up to book 6 on audible decisions decisions. I had never heard of Rylee until I bought this omnibus if that is you my advice would be get the omnibus you won't be sorry.

A great start to an excellent series
These are the first 3 books of a much longer series and each book gets better and better.
Initially I thought Emma Galvins narration spoiled this a bit as other reviewers have mentioned, but she does grow on you and in particular her voices for Alex the Labrador/Werewolf are brilliant
.
The English accents in Book 3 are cringeworthy though.
As to the story Rylee is a tracker who has an ability to find lost children and the first book is a fairly straightforwards introduction but each book gets more and more complex and Rylees life and adventures get much more interesting.
If you dont like the Narrator but like this genre at least read the books because they have a different slant and you are left guessing quite a bit as to which characters you can trust. Although the general result is predicable to some extent the plot twists and which characters are good or bad is much less predictable than in some books of this type
If you like Jane Yellowrock you will probably like these! A girl with attitude who never gives up and has bigger and bigger challenges to overcom,. though the abilities they posess are totally different
Already downloaded and listened to book 4 and its just as good and will be onto book 5 soon
Only slight complaint is the books are quite short, not an issue when one credit gets the first 3 but the following books are relatively expensive per listening hour

Good deal, fun story but regretful narration...
A good old feel good, girl power kind of book. I enjoyed discovering a new world, full of nasty Supernaturals but regrets that the narration was so terrible. Surely the line " I went to the bathroom and brush my teeth " should not be read with the same intensity as "I could feel the life rush out of me !!".

Disapointing
Sorry but the narrators voice is almost monotone and becomes very irritating quite quickly A real pity as I was enjoying the story.

Okay
I'm a little undecided about this series. The storyline is good but I found myself getting a little bored at times. I also found Rylee a little odd. I wanted to like her, but she grated on me at times. The narration was good.

If you can get past the Narration it is enjoyable
The first thing I have to tell you is the narration was terrible. Too fast, felt like everything being read was urgent, it needed to be more gentle rather than every word being high pitched and rushed. The extra accents added to book 3 helped as when the Narrator used the English accent it was far calmer. You can't listen to this before bed though as it is not soothing. The story however did keep me interested Riley is easy to like (though she swears a hell of a lot), Her romantic interest Liam is also easy engage with just like her loveable warewolf. Rylee tracks stolen children, it's her gift, mix that with supernaturals stealing them and a vampire trying to woo her and some power politics, you have a easy fantasy listen.

Great Story
Found the series by accident, but glad I did. Great characters, enjoyable story with some unique characters. I found the narrators voice hard to get on with, but that is just me, eventually tuned into it, wasn't going to stop me listening to the story though ;)

Good series, bloody AWFUL narrator
Great writer and ... enough said.
Buy the written version instead of the Audible copy (who chooses these narrators???)

Great start to a series.
One
Just like any first book in a series it’s all about setting the scene and world building.
I quite like that I’ve read the prequel because I understand why giselle is the way she is. I don’t know if I’d understand the story as much as I do without it.
Two
More information,
Romance progression,
Changes a foot
It’s getting exciting.
Listened via audio - I liked the narration 💪🏻
No smut …. I’m not sure if this will change either. Sex scenes were quite short but not bad.
Three
No progress with O’Shea :(
Kinda missed his character in this one. I’m still not 100% on what he turns into.
I feel like if I hadn’t already read the prequel this story would read a lot differently to me. Because of this I feel like I have a good grasp on what’s going on.
We learn a little more about her tracking powers which is good.

Audiobook not for me, will try the book
Unfortunately I couldn’t get use to the style of the narrator. I couldn’t relax into the story as I felt like every sentence and moment was an exclamation and very intense. I’m very interested in Rylee’s story and the world that was unfolding so I think I’ll try reading the book when I can find the time. Audiobooks are my go to and I love them as I struggle to find time to sit down and read.

Great story
I loved the story but I found the narrator very hard to get used to. I nearly gave up but I hung in there as I was really invested in Rylee.

great series
I really like this series. It's familiar but still has enough originality to keep me interested and the characters are wonderful. The action is well paced and fight scenes convincing.
The narrator is really good at dialogue but quite often puts the entirely wrong emphasis on the wrong word in the sentence and confuses the intended meaning. It feels as if she didn't give it a proper read-through before recording... Also, several mispronunciations hurt my ears and made me cringe. Despite these negatives, I did like this narration and am going to get the other books in the series by this narrator. I am hoping each one is better than the previous ones, as the narrator gets used to the author's voice.
I recommend this series to anyone who enjoys urban fantasy with heart.

A paranormal version of a Matthew Reilly story
Loved the stories about Rylee Adamson. They were full action delivered at full speed. Can’t wait to read/hear more. Book 4 coming up next.

Thrilling, addictive
I can't get enough of Rylee Adamson the tracker and her band of friends (grins) she is a kick ass heroine with a potty mouth and sharp wit and sharper swords ;) she is just a treasure and i love her and her side kicks. Emma Galvin you are amazing and funny, you bring Rylee to life and make her flys :P
