Publisher's summary

If you’d have told me six months ago that this would be my life, I’d have laughed in your face.

Money. Marriage. Murder.

Three things I never thought I'd deal with, let alone all at once, but now those three words embody my entire world.

There’s nowhere to run, not with the eyes of the country on us now.

With everyone watching, we can’t afford a misstep, especially since bodies keep dropping around campus.

My only hope is that we can find whoever is behind the killings.

Before they find me.

The Saints of Serenity Falls is a dark college why-choose romance series with some aspects of bullying. There is angst for days, some serious fall-loving vibes, and coffee for days. Hold onto your hats, cause this is about to be a wild ride.

What an ending...again!

This was a great second book in the Saints Of Serenity Falls series. I think it just may have had even more twist & turns than the first book. And the first was very twisty turney! Is this what college is like now a days? I have not been out of college that long for things to change this much! (lol) I'm only 36. This book was a total page turner, even though I listened to it on audio, I had the speed cranked way up so I could listen faster. That seems similar to a page turner, but there are no cute words for it. The addition of a second, male narrator was an excellent idea. The female narrator did a great job by herself, but there are a ton characters and most of them are male. So it was totally fitting. The ending was another cruel ending! I have to wait like 5ish days until book 3 comes out. I can't wait to see what happens! I def recommend this series so far!

A Revenge So Sweet

A Revenge So Sweet is the second book in The Saints of Serenity Falls series. This book starts where book one ends, so they should be read in order. This book is the continuation of Briar, Cole, Travis, Sawyer, and Asher's story, and is told from multiple points of view by all of these characters.

This book was great and had me invested from the very beginning. There were a lot of secrets and twists and turns I didn't see coming. Someone is after Briar for something she did, and Briar and her guys have to figure out how to get to this person.

Briar's relationship with all of the guys is awesome as well. All of them are going through things, and they are there for each other to get them to the other side.

This book ended in a crazy way, and I'm excited to see what happens next with Briar and her guys!

One of my fav listens to this year!

This might become my favorite series by this author! I loved her paranormal series she previously had under another name that she is now moving until this name, but this series has me in a hold and I am loving it so much.

We start the book off with a bang, following the confrontation that had us on the edge of our seats in book 1. Briar has to live with what happened, the guys are there for her even more, and more walls are finally broken between Briar and the last remaining guy. I loved seeing him break and boy was I not ready for his Dom/kinks hahaha. I think that bathtub scene was kinda out of left field but I was here for it (not my kink, but it was definitely steamy and she loved it so I was good haha). I was happy Travis finally revealed things to Briar so most of the secrets are out in the open. I wasn’t shocked when Briar’s mom begged her to agree to the engagement since things weren’t what they seem but the big reveal in the book I didnt see coming. I thought maybe there was a twin or something, since the baddie had mentioned a guy and lying or something. I am interested to see how things are resolved and the last secrets come out in book 3. I heard the last one is coming out soon so that is a relief, I am itching to read the 3rd book but I love these narrators so much so I want to wait to listen and finish out the trilogy.

Ok so the STEAM and relationship building in this book is fabulous. I am falling for these guys so much. There are so very heated moments but som adorable swoon worthy moments too. I want a boyfriend like one of the twins in my life hahah. And maybe has some of the possessiveness of Cole and Travis too haha. I loved the good side characters, seeing some more airtime with them. I loved the puppies too, can’t forget them haha. The ending was shocking, I am intrigued to see how the author gets us out of this, especially with the one part of the story, but also with all the women disappearances and deaths. Plot is amazing, well-paced and flow was perfect ❤️

Narration was spectacular again. I am really digging this female narrator, she did a great job in this one like she did in book 1 (first time I had heard her). She had to handle a lot of tough things in book 2 and she emoted everything so well. I felt her anguish and conflict with the thing that happened in book 1, the reveal that rocked her world in this one, the steam and anticipation with the guys (especially not that Travis is in the mix too), the anger and pity towards her mom, etc. I loved having a male narrator in this one too (with the guys’ POVs which was awesome). He did a great job, I have listened to him before but he was really good in this one (I think because there wasn’t accents to make it difficult/have any issues). Easily 5/5 for narration, cannot wait for book 3!!

Murderous!

Wow! What an exciting continuation to this series. That's quite a cliffhanger, though, so I hope the final book is out on audio very soon. I like the guys so much better in this book. Some secrets have been revealed but there is still plenty more that we don't know. The story is intense with so much going on including several spicy scenes mixed in with secrets and lies, murder, and so many twists and turns. Cecily Foster and Alexander Neal have both done a wonderful job bringing this story to life.

Great continuation of series

This is the fourth book/second series I've read/listened to by Lily Wildheart. It's a dark, steamy, RH, step sibling, bullying, college trope with a good storyline and characters. There were twists that I didn't expect and we get another heart pounding cliffhanger! I am now completely invested in Briar and the boy's relationships and look forward to the next audiobook!

Cecily Foster is an excellent narrator. She voices male and female characters with perfection. Her emotional performance brought this book to life and had it rolling like a movie in my head. Perfection.

She’s Sunshine

⭐️: 5/5
🔥: 4/5
🎧: 5/5

This is the second book in The Saints of Serenity Falls series, a continuation of Briar, Cole, Travis, Sawyer, and Asher’s story and unlike the first book is told from multiple points of view. Cecile Foster and Alexander Neal do a wonderful job with narration and bring the characters to life. Book 1 left off on a small cliffhanger, and we all want to know what happened, so I was totally ready to listen to book 2. The secrets and twists were unseen and made the book more intriguing. Someone is after Briar and her and the guys are determined to catch this person before they catch her. In the midst of the stalker situation, they’re also going through stuff with their families, so they make the best of a crappy situation. Briar also learns to open up to the boys, but starts with Asher since he makes her a big softy. And of course we see the squishy Shadow throughout the whole story since he’s Briar’s comfort blanket.

The relationship between Briar and the guys is unique and they all support each other through the crap they’re all going through. Again, book 2 ends on a cliffy and I can’t wait to listen to book 3 to finish their story.

Briar and her Boys

This one also ends on a cliffy. I am still unsure where the story is going but I am excited for it to get there.

I really appreciated the spice level in this!

The narration is wonderful!

College dark romance and spicy reverse harem

This book basically picks up in the last chapter of A Burn So Sweet, only this time it's being told from Travis' perspective. Honestly, Travis cleared a lot of things up for me. In this book, everything isn't as it seems. Briar faces so many problems in this book and her whole life in general. My biggest question that wasn't answered is, why Briar? Briar and her mom are poor. Why pick Briar and her mom to use as pawns in arranged marriages? I think there's more going on with Sawyer, Asher, Cole and Travis' father's. The full story of Briar's past trauma hasn't fully come out yet either. The guys finally give into their feelings full force and want to protect Briar. There are some very hot and spicy scenes. Specifically, the bathtub scene that involved ALL of them 🔥! I don't like Briar's mother or Travis' father at all. I guess they were made for each other. What is Briar going to do with the secret her mother told her? It was pretty big! The ending was horrible, dramatic, and was a huge, huge, HUGE cliffhanger! Be prepared! I'm not quite sure these college kids know what they're up against just yet or why. I'm looking forward to finding out. This book was very fast paced and flowed well.

Well done ...

This got off to an intense start and then the pace and tone were set—absolute 🔥🔥🔥.
While this installment was a bit more steam than plot, it did further the overall plot and was ultimately a good installment.

📚 MMF / eventual reverse harem.
🔥 Twins.
📚 Rough … steamy scenes.
🔥 Crime family vibes.
📚 Small town vibes.
🔥 Secrets and lies.
📚 Mystery.
🔥 Justice system drama

Can’t wait for book 3. Overall: 4 stars.
