Who is betraying whom

I liked the main Character and her adventures behind enemy lines post war. Who can she trust?
Enjoyable characters, story has it all-post war fear, betrayal, a list, and a former lover. Can she bring him back home with all the info he's learned as an agent?
Narrator did a great job with all the character voices.
I would recommend this series.

Much better

This second entry in the series is much better than the first one. It moved at a better pace, while still balancing the different storylines.

I love Elenor Standish!!! (And ALL THE CHARACTERS, even the evil ones...okay, only like evil ones),

Maybe even be better than Monk, Hester, T and C Pitt, and D Pitt!! (And THAT’s saying something). I’ve read books 1 and 2 of this series...frantically looking for number 3 to download. Worried to read number 4, as it may be a while for another one to be published.

Another great story. Amazing how the history and fiction are combined. Feeling the horrors of getting ready for WW2

A must read

I loved everything about the book: history and mystery, performance. A fabulous book to listen to while traveling. The book was so engaging that I missed two exits which worked in my favor. I miss a lot of construction.

Betrayal

This was a wonderful, suspenseful mystery. Wonderful characterizations with love & sadness. And surprises. I highly recommend it.

Not as good as Book 1

Meh. Not as good as the first book in this series. Too much about appearances and so forth--great clothes, great bodies, handsome guys. :) Gets tiresome. Especially if the plot is rather transparent.

I found the romance annoying.. tedious....I fast forwarded through it.....

Bad Boy Boy Friend

Britain on the brink to the start of another war and the author skilfully draws you into the plot with mystery, strong characters , many surprises and a strong ending.

Excellent. Eleanor is really coming into her own.

I really loved the plot. Eleanor's character will be a force to reckon. I loved that the plot is slowly escalating in each book. Looking forward to the next.
