Loved this book!

Cal and Zelda are amazing!!!!! This story and audiobook was phenomenal! This book has so much... chemistry..... angst..... mystery..... love.....

Zee is so wonderful.. She deeply cares for those in her life. She wants to do the right thing even when she has messed up. Cal is so swoony and real. He wanted Zee... he fought for Zee... he worked to keep Zee safe... he was one of my favorite heroes.

Natalie Duke and Gary Furlong did amazing in the narration. Gary was the perfect Cal!

Loved it so much!

Love in unexpected places

The story continues in this book with Cal running after Zelda from book 1. I loved both Cal and Zelda and wanted them to have their happily ever after but it takes some doing for them to get there. This book is packed with danger and extreme situations that they find themselves in and that they may not survive. There are twists and turns that keep you guessing as to how the ending will turn out. I love a story like that where I can't figure out how it is going to end. We still have Ava and Rowan to catch up with as well as all the other characters from book 1. Great adventure and love story.

Natalie Duke and Gary Furlong did a great job of narrating this book. They were believable as Zelda and Cal and I enjoyed listening to their voices.

I loved the book and recommend it.

I love this story!

This is one of my all time favorite books from Tia Louise and the magic the narrators did bringing this story to life was just pure perfection. They did such an amazing job bringing this incredible story to life it made me fall in love with the story all over again.

And just WOW once again!!! While the first one had me sitting on the edge of my seat this one was even better!!! The twists, turns and emotions in this book were over the top and amazing! Cal is such an amazing and strong character without being intrusive and Zelda is also a strong character who is trying to survive. By far my most favorite book couple ever.

This is not a stand alone and you would be doing yourself a disservice to not read it. And now I sit here waiting, not so patiently, until January

Zelda and Cal!

It may have been treachery that brought Zelda and Cal together or it may have been fate. From their first interactions their was no denying the chemistry and connection between them and an epic romance begins. When not only is Zelda’s life threatened but those of her sister and the man she loves she believes the best thing she can do is to disappear and hope that will keep those she is closest to safe.

When Cal finds out what Zelda has done all he wants to do is protect her and that means finding her and chaining her to his side if necessary. He soon tracks down his elusive love but the danger has just begun.

This story takes you on a wild adventure filled with suspense, twists and heat between two people who complete each other and there is no other way for their fairy tale to end then with a happy ever after. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and thought the narrators were a perfect match for the characters.

A Player for a Princess

All the feels! I am in full on book hangover mode! This book was suspenseful, sexy, angsty and fun. Everything you want in a book here in a beautiful package. I absolutely loved the first book in the series, but I am beyond the moon over this second book. It is amazing. I don't even want to say too much, because I don't want to give anything away. However, I loved reading this book from start to finish and I can't wait to read more. The narrators even added to the experience. I felt even more with these characters and got even more involved in the story if that is at all possible, because I loved every minute of reading and listening to it.

Good Story

Overall a good story.

It was a little slow to pick up but finished strong.

Zelda and Cal blend perfectly together and I love the name chosen for their daughter!

Natalie still had some struggles in this story but was better overall.

I much preferred Gary’s voice over the previous narrator. Much more natural sounding in his accents. And he flowed from American to French to the French/English twist for the Princes

Loved this action packed listen!

A Player for a Prince is Zelda and Cal’s story. In book one, I was enamored by MacCallum Lockwood Tate and was so happy to get his POV in this book. The ending of book one was straight up crazy. All kinds of stuff went down and it forced Zelda to go on the run. She’s trusting the prince to take care of her sister, and she’s trying to stay away from anyone who could cause harm to them.

Zee is doing what she feels is best. She’s trying to keep the people she loves safe. But Cal isn’t having it. He needs Zelda safe and with him. He will do whatever he must to find her. And find her he does. He finds her so early on in the book, I was curious what else was going to happen in the story… but there was no need for me to be concerned. The rest of the book was action packed. You see, Zee knows some shady people and she gets recaptured. It’s a mess. I was nervous waiting to see what would happen…

As you can imagine, Cal is worried sick. He goes back to Monagasco to get some reinforcements in operation: Find Zee. This story was all kinds of exciting. It was also uber romantic. I love these Princes’! The author describes it as ‘Cinderella meets Ocean’s Eleven’ and she couldn’t be more accurate in her description.

I know this is a duet, and the last book in this series, but I hope that the author continues it. The book concluded nicely, but I would love to see more about Rowan and Ava (even though Zelda and Cal are my favorite couple, I’m still interested to see whats going on with them) and honestly, I’d LOVE a book with Logan. He’s intrigued me.

If you’re looking for a fast paced series that has loads of action and lots of love, the ‘Dirty Players Duet’ is right up your alley!

A dramatic and suspenseful end for Cal and Zelda.

Talk about a gut-wrenching and suspenseful story! This book had me white knuckled and on edge over half of the time! The twisted and manipulative plot line of A Player for a Princess had me guessing all the way to the end of the book. So many corrupt characters and situations. My heart broke for Cal and Z. They deserved so much happiness but there was always something lurking in the shadows, just waiting to rip them from each other.

I really liked the writing in this story. It didn't feel like the usual style that Tia writes in. It was much more dramatic and raw. The trauma that Zelda went through in captivity was heart breaking. You could feel the emotion so deep within the writing of her experiences. I thought Zelda truly shined in this story. Her strong personality and willingness to do anything to survive was showcased so well.

I thoroughly enjoyed the ending and how the story was completed. I thought the author did all of the characters justice.

I received a complimentary audiobook from the author in exchange for an honest review.

KIDNAPPED

Wow the extreme tension we have during this book had you on tender hooks all the way through from one circumstance to the other what happened Ava at the end of The Prince and the Player, to here when Zee leaves thinking she'll be protecting everyone, but not when Cal WON'T let her leave without a fight. When he finds her to convince her to go back with him, things become after deciding to post back the half of the payment Reggie. She gets into the back if a SUV & beaten, where she loses consciousness until she's a boat, then again when she tries to fight, until she wakes in strange where she just kept drifting in & out of consciousness. All she kept thinking about whilst awake was Cal & if he'd able to find her...
You DO NEED TO READ MACCULLUM & ZELDA'S ADVENTURE....
