Publisher's summary

The story takes place in the Omegaverse. This is book five in Hobson Hills Omegas series.

Abel Lawson is haunted by the memory of an alpha who was just supposed to be a one-night stand. He can't seem to get Mateo out of his head, even with a busy and full life to distract him.

When he discovers he is pregnant, Abel realizes he wants the whole package. He wants the baby, the husband, and the white picket fence. There is still the little problem of the several thousand miles separating him from the man he wants.

Mateo Medina isn't one to let a good thing pass him by. He knows he found the omega of his dreams, and he's determined to find him. Luckily for him, fate is on his side.

When his best friend calls him and offers him a job in the very pub Abel owns, Mateo knows he is destined to be with the omega who stole his heart. He takes a chance and moves his small family to Maine.

Together, Abel and Mateo build a family and a bond that will see them through everything - fear of heartbreak, protective parents, pushy grandmothers, angry siblings, and dangerous trouble.

Author's note: This is a m/m, nonshifter, mpreg, insta-love story with no angst and no cheating, just a HEA. There are a few potty mouths, so beware. 18+ listeners only, please. It is the fifth book in the series that is more enjoyable if listened to in order.

I love this series!

I'm a huge fan of A/O/B stories. I'm a sucker for MPreg too. These stories are filled with lovable characters and interesting story lines.

This is my favorite in the series, and Mateo/Able is my favorite pairing so far.

As for the narrator, Kenneth Obi has been the best in the series. The Wilson family come from Maine, and Kenneth has been the only one to read them with a New England accent.

this series gets a 10/10 from me, and Kenneth Obi is off the charts as far as I'm concerned!

I love this series more with every new book!

I loved Abel and Mateo’s story. They meet when Abel is on vacation in the Caribbean, where Mateo bartends. They click instantly and spend a night together, but then Abel has to suddenly leave and cannot find Mateo to tell him, so he thinks that his chance at happiness is ruined. Fortunately Fate has other plans and when Mateo’s friend unknowingly calls him to be a bartender at Abel’s pub they are reunited.
There’s the usual menagerie of animals and meddling family, and I love that although in this series there's always a background story of something or the other going wrong, behind the romance, in the end it's not the focus and it doesn't detract from the characters' love story!

Very Enjoyable!

A Pint for the Omega is book 5 in the Hobson Hills Omegas series. This beautifully written book is about omega Abel and his alpha Mateo. Though they met in a tropical island paradise and had a one night stand they both seem to want more, but Abel is called home to Maine. Mateo's friend calls to have Mateo come work for him in Maine at a pub the Abel happens to own. Mateo moves his small, but growing, family to Maine and to his omega. Abel and Mateo are really sweet together. They find themselves surrounded by lots of family, friends, and animals which they'll need as they deal with other family drama. This book is sweet intalove with a happy ending.
I recommend this book and series, they should be enjoyed again and again.
There were a lot of characters to keep straight and narrator Kenneth Obi does a fabulous job.

One of my favorites in the series

I really love this story and was glad when it came out on audio. Abel and Mateo are one of my favorite couples; Mateo because even though he seems like a bad boy, he’s really a sweet family man, and Abel because he’s such a sweet man that loves Mateo’s family so easily.

My biggest issue with the series on audio as a whole are that there are so many different narrators and each one seems to pronounce some of the more unique names (Ines, Yeo) differently and it bugs me.

Kenneth Obi did a great job narrating the story and bring Mateo and Abel to life.

Cute and sweet story!

This definitely falls into the low angst, sweet and fluffy listen category. A Pint for the Omega was my first book in this series but I didn't feel lost at all. It did make me want to experience more of the Hobson Hill Omegas though so I am probably going to go back and listen to the first few stories and hopefully the next one will be on audio soon. I really enjoyed Abel and Mateo's story and the family they created together. None of the small amount of angst was between the couple, it was all from outside sources and these two fought through it together the way a couple should. This is most definitely an insta-love story and very cute. The narration was well done and the voices were distinctive.

Sweet and wonderful

A Pint for the Omega is the fifth book in the Hobson Hills series by CW Gray. This contemporary m/m romance contains a non-shifter mpreg insta-chemistry and very little angst in the romance with hint of drama in the world of the characters. Able and Mateo are amazingly sweet characters with a lovestory that made me happy and smiley. The supporting characters are also fun. Really enjoyable story.

Kenneth Obi narrates this story and does an amazing job with voicework full of personality and emotion. Smooth and clear recording added to the enjoyment.

Cute story

If you love a large happy family and a town where everyone finds romance, this is for you. A slew of happy couples, cute kids and pets of all kinds. At times the cast of characters felt a bit overwhelming, but they were all distinctive enough to remember. The romance started out very intense, but I'm fine with that since it is omegaverse, and it developed nicely from there. The presumed villain had a nice twist that took it from cheesy to something deeper and more involved. Overall sweet and enjoyable.

This is such a sweet and cute listen. I love Able and Mateo's story. I am so happy with this story. Then Kenneth Odi does a fabulous job with this narration. I love the voices that he brings to life and I absolutely love listening to this story.

A lovely story

A lovely story, romantic, low angst but with enough external tension to keep me hooked until the end.

The characters are cute, there are lots (and I mean LOTS) of pets and wow, those kids have a very wide and strong vocabulary *laughs*

Kenneth Obi does a very good job with the narration.
