life success strategies fiction but true

I highly recommend this book for pre teens through adults. It's more than about chess, it's excellent for learning positive skills for success in life. Using a fiction story line, it's based on true stories, easy to read or listen to it but packed with great wisdom.

Will help many people

Elliott, by his own admission, is not a writer by vocation or inclination. What he is is someone who embodies the principles in this book. This sincerity gives the book depth despite the stilted dialogue and performance. On the whole this isn't a book for those looking to be entertained by skilfully composed prose and an artfully executed performance. However, those receptive to the message it was written to convey will find it moving, uplifting and potentially transformative, far more than just reading about that message in an essay. I'm thankful to the author for having the imagination and courage to go this extra yard in his commitment to helping others, I know I have benefitted.
