As Iris, Mary and Sally work to interpret signals from incoming ships, they realise the enemy is somehow always one step ahead of their manoeuvres, dropping sea mines under the cover of darkness.

Friendships made and significant others met during, with wwii as a backdrop

The series features three friends who met during their work as wrens. Each girl had unique backgrounds, hardships and histories. Each novel in the series features one of the three friends finding love.
The stories were awesome to read (and/oe hear) but once the coupling was made… the book ends. So, you found yourself craving a bit more of the happy ending. But, I suppose wanting more is a sign of very much enjoying the book. Thanks Vicki

Heartwarming story

Well written and heartwarming story about war and friendship. Really enjoyed listening. Good narration as well.

Lack of closure

The ending needs an epilogue or introduction to a sequel. The author leaves too many open story lines.
