Boring

Some of the characters in this were alright but I was really bored by the story. I kept lisenting longer than I normally do but the book never picked up.

good story

it was a little light for my personal taste. The story was solid. The main character was well defined. I feel like the story was missing the antagonist even though it was there.

This in my opinion "it is worth a listen."

Good Start!

A good start for this new series. A good diversity of characters a lot of mystery and a lot of unknown factors. All the basic groundwork for an epic spending series. I truly look forward to additional books in the series.

Interesting story

I do like books that have a person going back in time and trying to fix things before shit hits the fan.

Badly written

Awful dialogue and overdone scenes that drag on. It’s also as if the author is padding the book with it.

Unbearable

This only barely qualifies as English.

It reads like someone used Google Translate on a Russian book and hit publish.

Normally I steer clear, but I was fooled by the author's pseudonym.

I mean, I'm assuming it's a Russian language book. All the tells are there: Awkward, unrealistic sounding dialogue (in English), calling people 'dog,' cringey women characters etc. If it's not Russian...?

Sheesh...

What is going on?

First off, I feel like I'm listening to an Anime with the bowing, honor, and speech. The language is just off enough that it sounds translated. Second, I feel like I'm tossed into this book with very little backstory, You pick it up in context as it moves along but, honestly, it's flat out confusing. I've given this book a few tries and started over from the beginning. I just can't get through it.
