Publisher's summary

Book Three of the Anniversary Day Saga.

A deadly conspiracy...

The Anniversary Day bombings on the Moon sent shockwaves throughout the Earth Alliance. No one knows who created the clones responsible and turned them into ruthless killers. No one knows where or when they'll strike next. The bombings compel Earth Alliance Frontier Marshall Judita Gomez to launch an unauthorized investigation into a case from her past involving the murder of clones. An investigation that might cost Judita not only her career but the lives of her crew. This third book of the Anniversary Day Saga sheds further light on the Anniversary Day events, and introduces several new key characters.

A continuation of the first two books

If you could sum up A Murder of Clones in three words, what would they be?

Exiting, thriller, reading-gaps.

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Murder of Clones?

The entire first book

Which character – as performed by Jay Snyder – was your favorite?

All are favorites

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

No, the gaps in recording make me loose consentration

Any additional comments?

The story is far thinner than the first two books, but the reading is a bit better.

Anniversary Day, Book 1.1

What was your reaction to the ending? (No spoilers please!)

What ending? This should be considered an alternate POV and additional information for Anniversary Day and before Blowback.

Should be book 2 of Anniversary Saga

Is there anything you would change about this book?

Should be the second book of the Anniversary Day Saga. All the action takes place before Blowback.

Would you recommend A Murder of Clones to your friends? Why or why not?

I like these new characters but wish there was more tie in with Retrieval Artist.

Have you listened to any of Jay Snyder’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Same excellent performance.

Did A Murder of Clones inspire you to do anything?

Looking forward to the next in the series.

Only for diehard fans

I gave this a 3 overall but that's mostly because the narration was excellent, as usual, and because I'm a long time fan of the Retrieval Artist world and this author. This book was disappointing, though. Nothing gets resolved. Nothing much really happens, either. It talks about things that happened in earlier books but not much actually happens in this one. It feels disjointed as it jumps around to the different groups and then just when I thought the story was finally about to start, it ended. I'm not sure I'll be getting the next one.

Required reading if you're already into the series

But to tell the truth, I'd like the original gang of characters back.

Good branch for the story, but it just seemed a bit long for what's essentially back story.

kind of slow. lots of background, but

could have been spun off to a side novella like some others that the author has done.
Jay Snyder's performance was excellent as always.

Ok Rush To Judgement on Series?

Where does A Murder of Clones rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's not at the top but close.

Who was your favorite character and why?

All of them in varying ways, makes for a good listen.

What three words best describe Jay Snyder’s performance?

Mostly good, voices and expression for females can be off putting at sometimes, but over all good.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

No just and enjoyable listen, that made me reevaluate the first 2 and try them again. Finding them just as good and making me interested in more of this series.

Any additional comments?

It looks like I might have been a little hasty in my previous reviews of the first 2 books in this series and can't go back and fix it. I do tend to jump around and had just found Anne McCaffrey (who is my all time fav and might have influences me) so... but these deserve another go round.
