Clearly murder, clarified murderer.

Good job of leading the reader through the research to understand what happened. 500 times better than a podcast on the same topic where many of the times, ages and events were incorrect.

Cannot put down book.

Growing up near Nashville, I remember many of the places mentioned. Michael Bishop does an outstanding job unraveling an old mystery.

We listened to this book on a trip to the beach and it kept our interest level high as well as made the trip pass quickly! We could not wait to get in the car to drive home to finish it!!! Highly recommend! I would love to know who “Amanda” was in the book because I am also from Savannah, TN!

Narrator

It would have been nice for the narrator to understand and know how most of the names and places are pronounced in Nashville. It was sad to hear these awful pronunciations as I listened about my city. Thanks

A Story Close To Home

Living near Nashville and knowing some of the key players in this book, I could not put it down.

Amazing Read.

This book was clearly exhaustively researched and well written. Much more than just another true crime book. Highly recommended.

My gut instinct appears to be correct again.

I first heard this story on a podcast where she mentioned the book. I was so upset through the whole hour with my gut screaming at me he's innocent and my brain screaming who I thought it was. I immediately downloaded the book. Michael Bishop did an amazing job solving the case and sharing it with the world. I hope Allen has been able to find some peace in the truth.

Quite A Twist

I didn’t expect it to turn out like it did! The perpetrators were evil ruthless and so corrupt! It took me a long time into this recording to get used to the narrators stop start speaking patterns. Overall, the story was intriguing. I finished it fast. I couldn’t turn it off!!!

Good read

I live in Nashville so this story was a fun read. The corruption of the city then with Mayor Briley & his wild ways is interesting as his grandson is mayor now & is sadly showing tendencies to be corrupt as well.
Highly recommend.
