Excellent

I knew fairly early who is was but it still keeps you guessing. Very worth it !

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed this. There are lots of twists to keep you guessing, but I have to admit I had it figured out pretty early on. I loved the narrator - Defiantly worth a credit!

The Absolute Best!!!

Wow!! Hard to give a detailed review without giving anything away but you will not be disappointed! When you think you know what the plot twist is, another, and another happen! Strong interesting captivating story from beginning to end! I didn't want it to end!

Best use of a credit ever!

Absolutely loved this book. So suspenseful and full of surprises!!! Couldn’t wait to finish but sad that it’s over. Highly recommend!

Great Story....with some very disturbing parts

This was a great story over all however there are parts that were very disturbing & a little too graphic, although a reality for too many, as horrible as it is. It really makes you think, when you can barely even read or hear, what is actually (too many) little girl's reality! Overall, it's a good book with many twists & turns.
I've never read any other books like this before, including sexual abuse, and I had to fast forward a couple parts, but again...overall, it's a well written story. I listened to it straight through pretty much as it keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Predictable

While the book was well written I found it very predictable. From the get go I knew how it would end. I listened to it because I enjoyed the story and narration.

Excellent twists and turns, Buuut...

I had a hard time putting this down. Good pacing, emotional, shocking, narrator did a great job of expressing emotions. I rarely get emotional from stories, but this one really got to me.
The only critique I had was there weren't any followable clues for the listener (reader) to figure out 'whodunnit'. You were mislead alot, and then it was WHAT? WHERE DID THAT COME FROM? Maybe this is a testament as to how well it was written and narrated because I still really enjoyed it though! If you're a big reader and had a little experience with the story 'situation' you may have an inkling while listening but you never knew for sure. This is definitely a story I would recommend listening too with this narrator. If you're looking for a great emotional psychological thriller, this would be it!!

Excellent psychological thriller!

The overall story kept me guessing. I did figure it out before it ended however and there were things that didn’t ring true but the story was developed well. Narrator was excellent. It raised interesting questions about nature vs nurture experts probably disagree about. Leaves us questioning what we as parents could forgive:)
