The narrator is SO good

One thing for me about a book, if the narrator isn't good or at least tolerable, I cannot and will not finish a book let alone a series. Kira Fizx does an amazing job, her voices were clear, concise, and I always knew who was speaking even before she stated it. A narrator can make our break a book and Melanie Cellier always has great narrators. I enjoyed the story and was engaged through the entire series! Happy listening!!

One of the highlights of this series is the rich character development and slow-burn tension, not just in relationships but in uncovering truths that reshape everything Kadence thought she knew. There are plenty of plot twists and magical challenges that keep the pace exciting across all the books, especially in the second half where the stakes become higher and the emotional depth hits harder.

I especially enjoyed interchanging between reading the book and listening to the Audible version. The narration was excellent, bringing the characters and magical setting to life with emotion and clarity. It made it so easy to stay engaged whether I was relaxing at home or on the go.

The romance subplot is clean but compelling, and the finale delivers a satisfying conclusion with just enough open threads for the imagination to linger. For readers who love stories of mentorship, found family, hidden powers, and strong female leads—this is absolutely one to dive into.

I definitely recommend reading this series!

engaging and enjoyable

I enjoyed the story and very much appreciated the lack of "adult content" that so many authors now use. the story was engaging and I very much wanted to hear the next chapter until the end.

She's done it again!

After listening to the Mages Influence series, I was hoping Nick would get a chance to grow and redeem himself. I am glad to report this series has happily fulfilled that wish.

I must say I was in utter uproar in the last part, and was feeling all sorts of fury at the situation, but of course the resolution left me in a feel good state, as is Melanie Cellier's gift. I have read or listened to most of her books by now and appreciate her ability to create compelling stories and characters you get invested in.

Kira Fixx was also the BEST choice of narrator for both of these series!

Enjoyable series

I don’t write many reviews but this series really kept me listening to. The characters were brilliant and full of personality and the various plot lines woven in and through all the books kept me interested and on my toes.

A non interesting book

This "book" is maybe for little kids. Terrible waste of resources and time.
Lack of theme, no change in vocabulary even for a little kid may be really boring.
