A Little Less Girl -Awesome listening experience!

Would you listen to A Little Less Girl again? Why?

Yes! I loved this story and it is a great read, the plot is good, the characters are really well developed, and I love listening to audio books! I could really relate to the feelings being discussed by Amy when she heard what Jake said about her, and then when Dani read her words as well!

Who was your favorite character and why?

My favorite character is Dani, she has had a hard life, and yet she willingly took it upon herself to find out what really happened to her cousin. There is a diary her cousin left which provides a few good starting places for Dani and it was great to hear her reasoning the plot out loud!

Have you listened to any of Hollis Beck’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I have yet to listen to any of Holly Beck's narrations, but I look forward to an opportunity to do so!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I was really moved by Dani's thoughts when she was reading her cousin's diary. I could relate to how she was feeling about everything and I could feel her being so upset when she read how Amy felt when she overheard Jake saying about Amy "I prefer a little less girl." This caused her to change her whole life up to that point just to be able to fit in.

Any additional comments?

Like all of the other books I have read by Tess Oliver, this one was just as good, and I am glad I got the opportunity to listen to this book. There is something quite compelling about listening to an audio book, and for that reason I wish I could listen to all of Tess Oliver's books on audio, and I hope that in time she will be adding others! That is not to say I do not enjoy reading her books! I have enjoyed reading quite a few of her books and I love how they all have the necessary elements in them! There is always a good plot just like this one, her series are always awesome and her characters are always well developed. In my own case, I love getting to know her characters through the pages of her novels and it is a very satisfying ending to all of her books! I think it would be even more awesome to listen to all of her books like this!
