Publisher's Summary

Miss Amelia Stalwood may live in London at her absent guardian's townhouse, but she's never actually met any nobility, and instead of aristocrats, her closest friends are servants. Quite by happenstance, she's introduced to the Hawthorne family and their close family friend Anthony, the reformed marquis of Raebourne. They welcome her into their world, but just as she's beginning to gain some confidence and even suspect she may have caught Anthony's eye, she's blindsided by an unexpected twist in her situation accompanied by nasty rumors.

Will she lose her reputation when the world that has only just accepted her turns its back on her, or will she rest in the support of the friends who've become like family and the man who's shared his faith and captured her heart?

If I want a religious book I will go to my church library. Did not want to hear all the religious dogma

Silly

Childish and silly, characters have very little depth. Story line predictable. Narrorator is good but sounds very young as well.

A lovely novella

I’ve read this novella several times and every time I find it enjoyable. The story is clean and uplifting. It causes me to desire to be a better person while also making me laugh.

The narration is well done.

Fun story twist

Although, to those that are atheists....there's a huge mention of jesus this. Jesus that. Not everyone who follows the bible is pure are the Winter snow.

Short but sweet

The characters were pretty developed considering how short a novel it was. Some parts were a bit sappy, but the story is well written and tasteful. An enjoyable quick read.
