Publisher's summary

A person could not boast of being in Paris without spending one night at Caveau des Trésors, the century-old underground jazz club and quintessential address for the best jazz musicians in the world. Caveau des Trésors, where the famous and the infamous mingle freely, has been Louie Bertrand’s favorite hideaway for 30 years.

So, when the famous sleuth’s table remains empty for too many nights in a row, the club’s owner suspects foul play and contacts Louie’s partner Mrs. Duchesney to begin a private investigation. When Mrs. Duchesney’s cousin Rudy also goes missing, she must enlist the help of Chief Homicide Detective Monsieur Bruno Lacosta, recruit a reporter by the name of Simon Pennington, and lastly, make peace with the one woman in Paris she does not trust - the famously seductive owner of the most popular jazz club in Paris.

Another story up to Peggy Kopman-Owens excellence!

Peggy Kopman-Owens has the gift of insight into people's souls, which make her books profoundly relatable, as well as enjoyable. The environment of Paris pervades *A Jazz Club*, as a mystery regarding the missing Louis Bertrand, the partner of the redoubtable Mrs Duchesney, unravels.

Robert G.C. Jackson's superb production and narration enhance the listener's enjoyment and comprehension of the story to its own 5-star value. The combination of a well-developed plot, and the dulcet tones and character interpretations in Jackson's voice, combine to make this audio experience immensely enjoyable.
