Always self-conscious about the birthmark on her temple, Patti is resigned to never marrying and busying herself with the responsibilities of the large home and property she has inherited. Besides, Martin's the last man she'd ever want to wed—no matter how handsome he is.

Amazing As Always

This book was very well written and read aloud. It is always a pleasure to listen to books authored by Shelley.

Poor reader

The voice of the reader has no emotion. Sounds like a whining child through the whole story. Almost turned it off several times

Unexpected delight

Needed to read for a book club, didn’t think I would like it but surprisingly I was enthralled after the second chapter. Couldn’t stop listening, finished in 3 days.

Sweet story

I enjoyed the whole story but it ends abruptly. I hope there will be resolution in the next book.

A is for Amish

I enjoy stories in Amish country, life is simple and clean. I wouldn’t be embarrassed in verbiage or scenes.

I loved the book from the beginning to the end.

That Patty and Martin couldn’t make a decision about their relationship, I hope there’s a second book to finish their story.
