Life without beauty

This was an interesting book with a lot of caricature development. Can you find happiness without the "normal" beauty the world expects you to have? Sometimes the hardest things we go through in life; the things that feel like they will break you in a way that you will never be whole again, are the things that help us to become stronger, wiser, and kinder then we ever dreamed posable. This was an inspiring book.

I loved this very unusual & unique book. It was quite a different story line, one which I wasn’t expecting at all. It was truly a beautiful and heart warming story. One of my very favorites- I felt like I was reading one of the classics. Narration was excellent also.

Sweet story

I really enjoyed this story. I love sweet romantic stories that I can listen too without blushing. This fit the bill besides dealing with a sensitive issue for the heroine that was interesting to see how it worked out. I really enjoyed watching the heroine grow in good chsracter, although I feel the author could have had a bit more fun/interesting things happen as she learned how to take care of herself, but the sweetness of the ending makes up for it!

Amazing, unique story!

I am an avid reader, and as an English teacher, I truly appreciate well-written prose. The story line for this book was such a refreshing change from the usual! I was taken by pleasant surprise to see how the author incorporated an imperfect character dealing with a ‘real-life’ situation. So unexpected and so well done! As I do not want to give away the ‘crisis’ the main character has to face, those of us who have beloved family members who deal with this same ‘issue’ applaud you!! Thank you!

A movie would be interesting.

I know a young lady with this affliction,she seems to be comfortable with it. I really enjoyed this book.

A Heartwarming Story

What was one of the most memorable moments of A Heart Revealed?

Two moments come to mind, first when Amber starts losing her hair, and then when she is publicly humiliated. The public humiliation was agonizing, a scene I will always remember. I writhed inside as I listened to it and empathized with the character. Great storytelling.

What does Cassandra Campbell bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

She does an awesome job with the different characters' accents. Very impressive and enjoyable.

A good, uplifting story that affirms the worth of life and people, especially the capacity for growth and improvement. A sweet story filled with hope.
