Always engaging

It was not only a good mystery, but it was interesting to see how the author interwove it with her autobiography, which I had also listened to.

Haunted Elegance

I loved this book from beginning to end. I was lucky enough to visit Holkham and it is truly wonderful to have a ghost story bring the house to life. Lady G. tells a most excellent story.

Pleasant

Pleasant lovely story of historical fiction. I especially appreciate the notes at these which compare to Lady in Waiting.

Great mystery

The authors notes at the end make this well done and suspenseful story even better!

Governess abuses little girl, I couldn't listen.

I almost returned this book because it has a sadistic governess who tortures the little girl. I didn't but I did have to turn it off.
Not really necessary for the story anyway.
