The fly in the ointment: the villain was a bit too predictable.

Great series.

Lovely story. Good addition to the series. I like the romance. Their feelings read as genuine. I normally don’t like simple, super-evil villains, but it worked here because the heroine was so surprised by it.

I love the whole series!

The story lines are engaging and light enough to make s perfect break time activity.

I truly enjoyed the lightheartedness of the mystery and romance. The narrator is someone I’ll listen to again.

Intrigue and Romance

The seamless integration of the previous book that introduced Jane’s character and this one . That leads me to wonder if there will be be another in this series with the introduction of a new character Will Gilford, just a thought. I enjoy the unveiling of the mystery of why Jane’s father died. And of course the interwoven romance between her and Lord Adrian. Mary Jane Wells’ narration was and is always excellent.

Love the lady’s guide series

The narrator brings the story to life. I never want them to end. Can’t wait for the next one.
