Publisher's Summary

Reading the full text of A Fragile Stone, Michael Card fascinates, inspires and challenges us to enter into the emotions of the Apostle Peter. Was the "Rock" really strong of heart? What did Jesus mean to him? What did he hope to gain by following Jesus? How did an impetuous fisherman become an iconic leader of the early church?

Michael Card says, "The ultimate reason for getting to know Peter is so together we might better know Jesus. For the story of Peter is the story of Jesus. Perhaps, if you and I do our best, the same will be said of us someday."

Shortened version of the book...

It’s a shortened version of the book with insights to Peter’s role as an apostle.

Condensed version.

I enjoyed this book very very much and would recommend it to many people! I also enjoyed j Michael Card’s narration. However I rated this book with three stars on all three aspects because there was never an indication of this was not a complete reading of the whole book. I would not have purchased it had I known it was a condensed version and this audio left out many stories and paragraphs that I think were essential to the book. I am sad the it was not recorded in its entirety.
