Publisher's summary

The rich bloodsuckers don’t want to pay taxes. Too bad, so sad.

They’re the least of my problems right now. At the wise suggestion of my beloved mate, I indulge in a little retail therapy so I don’t dismember the pissed-off crew of greedy Vamps who don’t want to pay their fair share.

How could a trip to the happiest place on earth a.k.a. Target go wrong?

Let me count the ways....

Martha and Jane want to ride in the cart.

Vinnie convinces me to buy chicken potholders because everyone needs poultry-inspired oven mitts.

Most horrifying? I’ve run into the most dastardly and most boring enemy yet, and they’ve turned my happy place into a nightmare.

Their diabolical powers have already put Ethan into a trance, and I’m next on their list.

I’m going to have to rely on my unconventional crew, Martha, Jane, Vinnie, and some undead mimes hopped up on caffeinated blood, if I want to kick ass and end this supernatural snoozefest. Adding my untrustworthy, homicidal sister to the mix might end in catastrophe, but it’s a case of "the Devil made me do it".

Disaster has struck again, but I’ll handle it on my terms—fashionably and with no mercy. May the best Vamp stay awake long enough to win...and let it be me.

Fantastically funny

I loved reading this book! I truly enjoy Peterman’s fouled mouth sarcasm laced quirky writing style. Reading it is great but listening just makes it so much better. The narrator adds depth and hearing it seems to make my imagination run wild while I laugh my way all the way through! Perfect story to help get through your work day but beware if you have co workers beware you will laugh out loud and people will look at gig like your nuts.

RP throws out another hit!!

i looove me some Astrid, and this book brings us back around to her pov. i Also love Martha and Jane- their antics Never get old!
Astrid’s ‘compassion’ will see her through yet another crisis, when Ethan, and many other vampyres, are found tranced.
don’t miss this one! it’s disastrous fun!!

One of the best series ever!

Just gotta love Astrid and her gang of misfits, they are just amazing. You can not find a more hilarious, engaging, and interesting series out there. It is so absurdly bazaar, you'll swear you've met some of these individuals. Well, except for the vampires, Immortals, and all the other Supernatural beings, maybe, if so, more power to you. I will read or listen to anything Robyn Peterman chooses to put out into this world, it will happily take you into the next. It was a fun and touching read.

Hilarious series!

I am a huge fan of this series and the narrator bring so much to Astrid. I have listened to the entire series rather than read. The characters are so funny.

Love Love Love It!

What is better than reading about our favorite badass True Immoral/Princess of the North American Domain of Vampires, in Prada? Having it come alive in this audio book! I love how Jessica brings Robin’s characters to life. I have read all of the books in the Hot Damned Series and listen to each one as they become available. (Maybe more than twice)
Astrid is trying to to have a Target Shopping Spree Day. A group of mythical vamps are trying to rule the world thus ruining Astrid’s plans, oh and putting her mate in danger. Definitely a bad move. Definitely bad when it leads Astrid to ASKING Jane and Martha to Sing!!!
I so enjoyed listening to Jessica bring this book to life. The nuances she brings to each character were delightful! I laughed and was totally absorbed in the telling of the tale that it was like I had just heard it for the 1st time, even though I had read the book.
Definitely recommend. Robin’s story is awesome and Jessica’s performance outstanding!!!

Freaking Hilarious

Robyn kicks it up a notch this is WITHOUT A DOUBT HILARIOUS! Jessica does an amazing job as always giving the characters their own voices giving them life. I love this series and thank Robyn for bringing laughter into my life when I desperately need it. This next in series is Fabulous and I highly recommend it. The Audible is worth every penny. I would say more about the story line but don't want to give away spoilers. Cheers. Happy listening.

An awesome conclusion

Although I am sad that this book Mark's the end of the hot damned series, I am grateful to have had the opportunity to listen to it twice. I really enjoyed Astrid, Satan, Mother Nature, Martha, and Jane’s antics. I am going to miss this dysfunctional ragtag of misfits. However, I have questions for Robyn Peterman, but I will need to type an essay to get my questions points. Jesica Almasy and all of the other narrators of the series did an outstanding job bringing the characters to life. I can honestly say that I will listen to the entire series again in the near future, I don't think 17 books are not enough, but maybe Robyn may give us a spin off of the characters like Samuel, Juliette and Reese... Those are my hopes! XOXO Janet
