Then they brought home Marley, a wriggly yellow furball of a puppy. Life would never be the same. Marley quickly grew into a barreling, 97-pound streamroller of a Labrador retriever. He crashed through screen doors, gouged through drywall, and stole women's undergarments. Obedience school did no good - Marley was expelled.

A Darker, Sadder Sequel
I adored A Dog's Purpose, both the plot and the performance by George K. Wilson. The sequel left me with some heart-warming moments, but overall sadder upon completion. The lead human character was more tragic, and the supporting characters were either far more heroic or far more despicable than any in A Dog's Purpose. Gloria was easy to hate, and Trent spent time between scenes having his halo polished and his wings adjusted. I won't be giving the hardcover of the sequel as gifts as I did with A Dog's Purpose. Not a bad book to be sure, but a different mood from the first volume.

Outstanding!!!!
Would you consider the audio edition of A Dog's Journey to be better than the print version?
Yes, the narrator brings a certain something to the book that cannot be fulfilled by just reading, When I listened to the book I felt as if someone was sitting in my house telling me a story that was part of their life.
Who was your favorite character and why?
With out a doubt it was all the different dogs, or should I say the same dog in different lives. My wife and I are real animal lovers but really have a special place in our hearts for dogs.
What does George K. Wilson bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
As I said before a narrator brings things to the story you could never have if you just read the book.
If you were to make a film of this book, what would be the tag line be?
The movie tag line of "You'll Laugh, you'll cry, but you'll leave with a new spring in your step and love in your heart" Corny but true.
Any additional comments?
I listened to Mr. Cameron's first book and afterwards sent him email asking when the next book would come out, the same goes now when is the next one to be published, we look forward to that day.

Sigh, a loving tribute from Man's best friend...
This put a lump in my throat and a smile on my face many times through the reading. I has made me look at my dog and cat in a whole new light. What is there purpose and what is my role in helping them fulfill it. If you love your pets and feel a strong connection to your dog..this is a must read. Especially if you have loved and lost a pet, your heart will sing to have a unique perspective. A lovely follow up to a Dog's Purpose by the same author. The narrator is terrific as well. A+++

A Dogs Journey
What did you love best about A Dog's Journey?
Told from the dogs point of view.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The dog of course
What does George K. Wilson bring to the story that you wouldn???t experience if you just read the book?
He has an amazing way of changing his voice tone for different characters. I loved how he made Gloria sound as whiny in her speech as she was in her character
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Both.
Any additional comments?
An amazing book, I had to listen to it twice. It truly makes you look at your dogs differently.

tears, tears, tears
Don't know if i Was crying for the sudden loss of my 25 year old cockatoo or the sudden loss of my 17 year old Lhasa apso. Or maybe it was just the moving on of the dogs and the characters in the book. I have never cried so much over a book. The loss and love was so palpable It's so sad but then so beautiful. Not sure how they could incorporate all that emotion Into a movie. So beautifully written and narrated.

Even better than the first!
If you could sum up A Dog's Journey in three words, what would they be?
If you liked the first book, a dog's purpose, then you will love this one too! I actually liked this one even better than the first one! Must read for dog lovers!
What did you like best about this story?
The voice of the writer, the way he wrote so well from the point of view of a dog!
Who was the most memorable character of A Dog's Journey and why?
Of course the dog, but also CJ.
Any additional comments?
I love this book!
