Martin’s beloved beagle Perth is a lively dog who certainly keeps her family on their toes, and her escapades may have listeners reaching for their own furry friends, if only to say, warningly, “You’d better never!”

It was a great story about a beagle. it made me cry a few times and even angry at the owners a few times. It's a great story, I definitely recommend it. There is a great description of scenes and characters;it definitely awoke my imagination. There wasn't as much detail as I wanted and the ending, but overall a really good story. I can definitely agree with the narrator that this was a very very special dog. The great description of all the places that were traveled in the story really make me want to travel to these places too; I think it really is just the narrators great description. definitely worth my time.
