Edgar Allan Poe, born in Boston, was an American writer, poet, editor and literary critic, considered part of the American Romantic Movement. Patrick Girard Lawlor, a classically trained stage actor, has performed onstage throughout the US and Europe.

A Very Good Science Fiction Short Story
I completely enjoyed this short story. It is action packed. The story is scary, but without supernatural bad guys or something Uber villains. The adversary is a science fiction natural phenomenon.
The narrator effectively performs this reading in a dramatic manner. I do need to reread this work as I found it difficult to capture all details in the first reading. Thank You…
