Fun and Entertaining

A Death a Silversmith Bay is a fun and entertaining cozy mystery with engaging characters and an interesting plot. I look forward to the next book in this series.

Not as descriptive and scenic as the first two books

This book has Jemma back on the mainland. While it has some of the island characters in it, with one exception, they play walk-on parts. Overall, while the plot of this installment is well-developed, it gives you nothing of the flavor of Penzance. There is no real description and the action could be taking place in any small city. I hope she goes back to the Isles of Scilly in the next book or I may be done with this series even though I really enjoyed the first two books and I love this narrator.

I like this series

I hope the author keeps this series going. Im enjoying it. The narrator is a good fit she’s performed the characters very well.

Whiny character which throws people gf the vibe

I have really enjoyed the other books in the Jem Jago series, but Tori the sister, is a hard character to stomach. She whines incessantly, and it gets old very quickly.

Great cosy mystery series

A great series along similar lines as M C Beaton’s Agatha Raisin mysteries but with slightly younger players. Not too gory, not boring at all. Great narrator.
