Sweetest of Love Stories

Sweet romance. Loved that the characters in this book are flawed. They have things about themselves that don’t like. This makes them so much more relatable. The narrators nailed the voice acting for this story. I’d loved to listen to more books by this team.

pure sweetness

for a young adult book this is an adorable story of Young Love and the trials and tribulations of being a young girl.

Beautiful story.

A Date For Hannah is a tale that can appeal to anyone. Self image struggles are a cross we all must bear. No matter the age or color, there is a Hannah inside us all struggling to break free. Liam is a representation of the beauty we all possess, but have trouble seeing. A beautiful story that's universally relatable as well as irresistible is always a winner in my eyes.

Sweet romance!

As a huge Katy Regnery fan, I had to grab this first jump of hers into the young adult romance genre and came away with a smile on my face. Hannah is an insecure teen, self conscious with her looks and is off to her half-sister's wedding. Not knowing anyone and being the youngest there, she was unsure if she would have a good time and was doing her best to hide in the crowd. Liam, a young man that is working the summer with Hannah's sister takes a liking to Hannah, and soon the two are having the time of the lives at the wedding. Falling fast and hard when a teenager is not unusual, but is handsome, jock Liam too good to be true? I loved this first book of the LIFE series, full of teenage angst, feelings of first love and accepting who you are. Even as young as these two are, there is some baggage the two need to deal with, a secret or two and that hurdle of trusting in yourself and each other.

The narration by Julie and Cole Niblett was wonderful! Julie makes the perfect sounding teenage Hannah, emoting all of the emotions we all felt at her age. Cole was good, a strong male voice, also giving the Liam that feeling of strength with underlying insecurity. I loved the book and think it is a great debut for Callie Henry!

Sweet Romance

This is a very sweet young adult romance. Hannah is a young girl who doesn't believe in love until she meets Liam. She has a lot of self-doubt with her weight and looks. How could Liam possibly like her? Well, to her surprise he really does. He goes to an extreme to prove to her that he truly likes her for her. I enjoyed the narration by Julie and Cole Niblett.

<3 <3 Beautiful Story <3 <3

This would be the perfect book for many girls coming of age. There’s so many personal issues and struggles you have as a teenager and Hannah would be a great role model. Liam is just as sweet. While they both have some issues and struggle, they seemed to have just clicked together. I just adored how Liam saw Hannah. Not everything in life is based on looks and he was just so amazing with how he thought of her. I really think every woman and girl alike has a bit of Hannah inside them. It’s a struggle to stay confident.

I’m just thrilled with this story. I love the thought process behind this story. It’s sweet and real and pulled me in. I knew it was going to be more of a coming of age story and don’t normally read them but I was intrigued by the synopsis and I’m so happy I listened to this. It made me want to reevaluate how I think of myself. Callie Henry, or Ms. Katy Regnery, created such an emotionally-charged story. I’m beyond giddy to see that this is going to be a series. A series I am going to earmark for my 9 year old to read in the next 5 years.

The narrators, Julie and Cole Niblett, seemed to really work well together. I'm not sure if they're are spouses, dating, or siblings or what but Julie and Cole have a definite flow together. They were both upbeat and fun, something I appreciate a lot in my narrators.

I absolutely enjoyed listening to this audiobook. It’s really good from start to finish. I absolutely love the main characters, they are both AhMazing in their individual way. I wish for more then.
