A bit out of left field for me.
Could you see A Country School House being made into a movie or a TV series? Who should the stars be?

Be careful. Only 11 minutes long
I paid one credit for this book. It’s hard to see where the time is before you order it. The entire book was the sample preview. It would have been very interesting if there was more to it.

Wonderful story of a bygone era!
Would you consider the audio edition of A Country School House to be better than the print version?
The print version is hard to beat because it has such sweet drawings, but I was glad to learn there was an audio version.
What was one of the most memorable moments of A Country School House?
Any additional comments?
A child's grandfather explains what it was like to attend a one-room schoolhouse in 1940 in rural America. Many kids worked at their family farms before starting their school day. Indoor plumbing doesn't come to the school until the narrator is in 3rd grade. The setting sounds idyllic and innocent. My thoroughly modern touchscreen-loving kids adore the story even though it seems light years away.
