A Convenient Murder

Sheriff Cammie Farnsworth and Jace Northcott are finally married. They no sooner begin their long-awaited honeymoon than Cammie is summoned back to Twin Ponds. Her receptionist/dispatcher Emmy Madachuck’s mother Evelyn has been found murdered, shot at point blank range. Lying just feet away is the unconscious body of Deputy Rick Belleveau, bleeding profusely from a head injury. With the eyes of the townspeople upon her, questioning her objectivity, Cammie must unravel the mystery of what happened to Evelyn Madachuck. In a moment of empassioned rage, did Rick kill the woman who swore to break up his relationship with her daughter Emmy? Or is the answer darker?
