Prince Lachlan

Great story! I was absorbed from the moment I started this audiobook. The characters are every interesting. Greer is sarcastic, quirky, and a warm-hearted nannie/actress. Lachlan is her friend’s brother, who happens to be a prince. The story includes the evil step-mother, jealous half-brother, dotting fathers, and more. The character interaction and story flows naturally. Narration is great.

A sweet take on a classic fairytale!

This story was a sweet read. Great for anyone who loves a fairytale or in this case a twist on one :) Only thing that would have improved this is if the narrator would have changed the voices/tones up between characters. It was hard to to follow the characters changes when the voice/tone never changed.

A Cinderella twist turned out to be a very sweet story indeed. The evil step mother, to step sibling, and the orphan princess was an unexpected twist. I really enjoy the narrator's voices and inflections, great job.

Great story. Narrator does not meet expectations

A good story. Would have been a lot better with a different narrator. THe reading of the book was fine but I could never tell which character was doing the speadking. The narrator did not use different voices or tones for the different characters. Sometimes this made it hard to follow the story.
I was given this book at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Fairytale Romance

This is a sweet and wholesome fairytale romance and is a retelling of Cinderella. Except the wicked stepmother belongs to Lachlan. Lachlan needs to get married in order to keep his kingdom and his daughter who is and isn't really his daughter. Lachlan goes to America from his kingdom of Lyndon to visit his brother Chase. There he meets Chase's neighbor Greer. Greer who is actress comes up with the perfect solution. Greer will act and pretend to be his fiancée to save Lachlan's kingdom. Greer has to change everything about her and Lachlan can't be himself either in Lyndon. Lachlan's family doesn't care for Greer. His family wants a different brother to take over the crown. Also, Lachlan and Greer had real feelings for each other before they ever left for Lyndon they just didn't want to admit it. Can they both admit their feelings and live out their real life fairytale before it's too late?

A fun read. Very likable characters who are flawed and relatable. A cute story that kept me entertained and engaged.
