A Christmas Carol is Charles Dickens' beloved Christmas masterpiece and one of the greatest works of wisdom literature the world has ever known. Set in Victorian London in 1843, the story follows a bitter old miser Ebenezer Scrooge, as the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present, and Future conduct him through the stages of life in hopes of inspiring him with the true meaning of Christmas.
Appended to this audiobook edition of A Christmas Carol, narrated by Jon Sindell, are 172 annotations meant to illuminate the text like a linkboy's torch guiding a coach-and-four through the London fog. The annotations include 32 questions and activities designed to engage the hearts and minds of students and to improve their writing by challenging them to pattern language after that of the immortal prose master.
It is said of a character in the tale: "He knew how to keep Christmas well, if any man alive possessed the knowledge."

A narration that takes you back in time
Jon Sindell's narration of a Christmas Carol was a seasonal delight whether is was listening to it on the go or following along with his annotated version of this classic novel. Listening to this book was very enjoyable especially when imagining each character through Jon Sindell's enthusiastic voice portrayals.
