Fears Are Overcome

Oh how I loved this book so much! Poor Shay could never see herself with a military man with her fear of being left. Military man Colt has some PTSD and fear of crowds. These two together makes them face their fears and squash them. So much real life issues with positive outcomes. Loved loved loved!

Duty calls

Shay and Colt’s story involves the saving of an animal rescue shelter. Their meeting is quite unusual as is the date on which it occurs. The characters are very well developed, so that by the end I felt I knew them. The story has a group of volunteers trying to raise funds to save the shelter with a final rescue by Colt’s brother, Shay’s Ex-boyfriend. I enjoyed listening to this book on Audible narrated by Virtural voice(which sounded pretty good). I would like to see a sequel to find out if the brother finds a love interest, because he is definitely another very different story.

Predictable and AI does not help

AI completely ruined this for me. Having a female voice read the male part was confusing to say the least.
The story itself was totally predictable with no real conflict or plot.
